We did not dine as we had different plans. However for the beer drinker it is a must visit when in the village. On a cold night the added benefit of the table near the real fire is a bonus. I will return.

Second visit here and the staff always make us so welcome and could not offer more to make you feel welcome and to make your evening a great night out. We booked last minute. We were sat down quickly and served quickly. Starters came out fast. Mains were very nice and big portions. Beef and Guinness stew and Turkey pie highly recommended.

We have as a family meet up in Bourton annually near to Christmas and always make our way to this establishment for a Sunday Roast. It has never disappointed. The staff are very friendly, and keep the tables clear and clean.

We have just returned from another 2 night stay at The Duke of Wellington. We phone through to book our rooms and are always put in our room..... Breakfast for us is a full English freshly cooked and the evening menu and specials are lovely. We genuinely can't fault the staff who over the past couple of years have become... More

The bar staff were friendly, apologetic and attentive, but I only ordered sausage and mash, £7.99, shrivelled up (over microwaved) cheap nasty sausages on mash - not a veg in sight, not even a pea, with luke warm thin cheap gravy granules type gravy. To be fair, they didn't charge me for it, but I'd rather hoped for a nice... More

My two friends and I had dinner here in November while on a weekend reunion. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. Good choice of pub grub with good service . The best thing was the staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home.

My wife and I have been to the pub restaurant on 2 consecutive nights and enjoyed an excellent meal with an efficient friendly service. Our steaks were superb and the drinks made perfectly. Price wise was excellent value and the atmosphere relaxing. Recommended 100%

We turn up to Bourton On The Water past 2pm looking for lunch. There were 11 of us and two other restaurants refused to serve us because it was past their lunchtime service. The Duke of Wellington said YES and we all piled in. It is a very nice & rustic place. Felt like someone's local pub. Also it had... More
