Have not been here for years, no reason other than hunger and Seaford have not coincided until this week. Didn't fancy sitting on a windy seafront so used the restaurant. Nice and clean, service good but not dynamic (would be nice if the waiter used the term "no worries" a lot less) fish and chips hot and crispy and in... More

You can rely on the food being decent and hot at Trawlers. The restaurant decor is a little dated, but thats part of the fun - it reminds me of the Golden Egg of the 1970s. Customers are not trusted with tartare sauce though, this will be placed on the plate for you, you can't help yourself!

After being away from the UK for a year I was desperate for some fish and chips on my return, this place did not disappoint. Good big piece of Cod with crispy batter and a big portion of Chips. Would definitely recommend this place.

Huge helping of great fish & chips. Lovely restaurant. Great service. Love the add of lemon and tarter sauce. All served with a perfect pot of tea for 2. Thank you.

Lovely, in every respect. Freshly cooked, huge portions, very friendly service, good value. Can't fault this place in any way at all - keep up the great work! Thanks!!

This is by far the best fish and chip shop we have ever been in! The portions are big and fresh. You get great service with a smiley face and the traditional background makes this by far the best good old seaside fish and chip shop!

Went with the Family after a long day out, the staff are friendly and efficient the orders were taken quickly and the food served freshly cooked and piping hot. Superb choice of fish including Huss, Haddock, Plaice and Skate along with all the other favourites. Drinks list is limited but reasonably priced and the portions very good value for money.... More

Fish and chips are nowhere near as good as they used to be, the portions are fairly small compared with other local chippies. Staff were not particularly friendly or interested. Fish was overcooked and the chips were dry, not impressed and wont be back. Closes at 10pm.

Fish and chips tasty - although I do wish that they would skin their fish. Closes at 10.00 in the evening so no good if you fancy something after an evening out. Staff very pleasant.

Had dinner yesterday I had fish and chips my husband had pie and chips, we both really enjoyed our meal. The place is dated the staff just took our order not very friendly, only to their regulars. All in all I would recommend the Trawlers for their food.
