Excellent from start to finish. Little touches such as a friendly welcome, colouring materials to keep our 7 year old entertained and my partners desert plate being decorated with 'Happy Birthday' all added to the evening. The food exceeded our expectations. Good sized portions and the bill was a pleasant surprise. We left the restaurant feeling very full and reflective... More

Really enjoyed eating at this restaurant as we are both keen on fish, enjoyed the food especially the Thai Monkfish Coconut Chilli Curry! highly recommended, not really a wine drinker and found it expensive.

Immediately we received the friendly welcome from the enthusiastic French manager, saw the open kitchen and detected the lively buzz we thought this was going to be a good evening and it was! Super food served with a smile, a great bottle of chilled Sancerre and a sensible bill. Thank you- we will be back for sure.,

Booked a table for four online for Friday 14 August. Shortly after our meal arrived the adjacent table for eight was occupied by an extremely noisy party who clearly had no regard for the effect they were having on diners at neighbouring tables. Food and service were excellent but our next door neighbours spoiled what would otherwise have been an... More

The reviews seemed good, the buiding looked good, the menu looked good, and to be fair most of the food was good. But... after being seated in a 2/3rds full restaurant and being presented with water, chosen wine and menus we waited a good 25 minutes to order... annoying when the wait satff were just clearing unused wine glasses and... Relaxed and friendly service. Delicious food, served efficiently. Got busier and busier as the evening progressed and obviously a very popular restaurant. As it should be - food excellent.

Visited on a quiet lunchtime date. A very pleasant restaurant and the food was very good. The Thai fish soup dish was tasty and the fish and chips very good but too many chips! Oysters were fantastic. Certainly worth a visit when staying in Rye. A bit on the expensive side.
