Great choice of fish

I'm allergic to fish but the other half loves it & was impressed with the large choice offered. There was a good choice for non-fish eaters too & all very tasty. Definitely recommend!

A fish restaurant featuring the open kitchen and local fish produce. In particular the scallops were great. Seemed to mix different ways of preparing fish, with some quite simple traditional ways. An excellent quality fish restaurant.

We chose Webbe's for a celebration meal whilst holidaying in Rye. We had seen it recommended in a national newspaper and also friends of ours had been before. It was very quiet on the evening we visited, but it was midweek. The food was of a high quality and well presented. The wine list was pretty extensive too. We enjoyed... More

Managed to get a table for the evening that we required and so glad we did. If you love fish this a place to go. Our meal started with Cornish mussels, which were excellent, and our main courses were simply divine. Would recommend the panache of steamed fish and the scallops. Service was excellent.

This is a very well run restaurant that serves superb fish dishes (and probably other sorts too, but we didn't try them) - the fish was fresh and tasty and had been cooked to perfection and was well presented. Reasonable value in a comfortable atmosphere

We wanted to eat here as part of our break in Rye so booked on-line with no problems. It was Mothering Sunday so we thought it may be busy. It was, but pleasantly so when we arrived. Excellent service accompanied by excellent food. We consumed and enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Would recommend on all levels. Thank you.

We enjoyed a nice lunch on a Monday day out in Rye. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and very welcoming and friendly. The wine list and menu offers a good variety. The restaurant I am told sources its fish directly from the boats which is good to see. Our favourite dishes were the carpaccio of scallop and salmon and whole... More

It's called a Cafe' and to be honest if it hadn't been recommended I wouldn't have gone there. But, the food is excellent, the kitchen is open to the seating area and the two chefs produce first class food. It being Scallop week we had dishes that included scallops and they were delicious. Scallops with black pudding for a starter... More

Booking is essential on a Saturday night at this great sea food restaurant. Wonderful seafood in a modern setting with excellent service and good value for money. A real gem in Rye and well worth a visit.
