Dropped in by chance on Sunday lunch and had the last free table. Despite the restaurant being full the service was prompt and attentive. I chose the lobster and sirloin surf and turf at £27 and my wife had the lobster linguine at £17. Both were excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster were just right. Well done... We've eaten here a number of times, including in the private room above the restaurant for a pre-wedding dinner. The seafood here is excellent, some of the best we've had (particularly recommend the Monkfish). Very friendly service as well and we'll be back to visit soon.

We all had a very nice meal, it was very well presented and well cooked. The service was very polite. You can also see the chef`s preparing the meals whilst being seated. The restaurant is not the most atmospheric I have visited but never the less it is still very highly recommended for its quality alone. We will visit it... More

I'd been hankering for a good Boullabaise for quite a well and when I saw it on the menu outside we booked a table. My wife and I were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary and the meal, service and atmosphere at this brilliant restaurant helped make it a wonderful and memorable occasion. Back to the Boullabaise....., it was, hands down,... More

If you like your fish and you like a well-cooked and presented meal then this is the place for you. Wine was rather steep though, if you only want a glass. Excellently steamed fish - cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables. Try the dressed crab and mackerel with apple starter if it's on the menu - dee-licious!

What wonderful service, had a great chat and laugh with the manager and wine recommendations were perfect! The fish was beautiful...best seabass I have ever had! The only negative is that the resturant itself lacks a bit of atmosphere, however this would not stop me returning! Highly recommend!

Whenever we are in Rye we visit Webbe's fish restaurant. Each time has been a seafood experience of the highest calibre with service to match. We had the locally caught Dover sole and crab on the last visit which was delicious. We are already looking forward to returning.

Had a lovely dinner here. The local fish was fantastic, and the plates were light enough that we didn't leave feeling over stuffed. The Rye bay plaice and the Dover sole made very good mains, and there was a really good selection of light desserts, the summer pudding was delicious. A good bottle of wine at a reasonable price rounded... More

We ate in the café at the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings, where the café is run by Webbe's. We were impressed with the lunch we had and so tried Webbe's at the Fish Café in Rye. We were not disappointed and I had the best sole ever.
