This is a good quality fish restaurant based on the ground floor of a converted warehouse just off the main high street. We visited for lunch one Saturday. The food was very good and despite the fact that our order went in after the adjacent table of 10 and with a relatively full house, the service was prompt. The fish... More

This was the first time I had eaten in a fish restaurant. The kitchen is viewable / open plan style. The dishes are served up with a good eye for presentation as well as taste. Overall I would recommend a visit, especially if you like seafood of course.

We visited the Fish Cafe for the first time on the recommendation of friends, and though it does not have an impressive facade, you walk in the door and it is peace and calm, very pleasant. The staff are exceptional, very efficient and obliging, and this makes for an enjoyable meal. When you are looked after well, it makes all... More

Having dined at Webbe's in Hastings and at The Fish Cafe a couple of times you could say I am a fan of the company. Never a disappointing meal and service with a smile. Off to Rye again for another Sunday lunch at the Fish Cafe. Arrived on time and shown to our table - restaurant not that busy. Took... More

I've wanted to visit Webbe's Fish Restaurant for a long time, and was pleased to go. I must say the service was very attentive, the menu inviting, the food was fresh and beautifully presented, and it was all very good value. My quibbles are about the look and feel of the room. It's some kind of arty pre-First World War... More

We've been visiting this restaurant ever since we found it by accident around 8 years ago and we often find ourselves making excuses to travel down to Rye for various activities and then it's....hmmm why don't we pop along to the Fish Cafe too (as if that wasn't our original intention anyway). We probably manage to come down around every... More

First visit to Webbe's in Rye and will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu. Very reasonably priced and received a great welcome from the staff. Good range on the menu even for non-fish eaters and good priced dishes. We sampled the pot of prawns, garlic bread, scallops and fish and chips which were all excellent. No... More
