Looks can be deceiving, take a chance....

Often wondered what this place would be like as pass it often. On our way to somewhere else so on the spur of the moment thought we'd check it out. Pretty tired looking inside and out, doesn't look like it's been decorated since the 80s.... but I tell u what don't knock it til u tried it, the food... read more

Myself and my partner had been going to the Newmarket Inn for years my partner at least 9, well yesterday is the last time we will be going :( The Newmarket Inn isn't close to us but we travel there every month or so because the food on the carvery is beautiful. We went yesterday as we didn't realised that... More

Me and my family stayed here over the weekend as we were visiting family and going to drusillas zoo. We drove and the newmarket inn has a massive car park with free parking which was ideal. On check in, we were greeted by the management who informed us they have just taken over the running of the pub/hotel in the... More

I visited here today with my family for my mums birthday (10 adults) and from start to finish I wish we'd gone else where. I would like to firstly say, we come here once every 4-6 weeks and have always had a great meal & service. When we arrived I noticed that there was only 2 tables occupied so knew... More

This is a nice B&B / Carvery just off the Duel - carriageway between Lewes and Brighton. From the outside it does not look very appealing with a derelict garage next door, yet inside it is well presented and very clean (although the Bleach Smell is a bit strong). The staff were very friendly, serving either a Carvery or a... More

I needed to book accommodation and food last minute to take my daughter to an interview at Brighton University. After a brief search the Newmarket Inn looked to be a good choice (an understatement). After explaining on the phone that we may get there late in the evening as we were travelling from the other side of the country we... More

Went there today and had a carvery and what can i say it was gorgeous! All freshly cooked not like other carvery's in the area and a good selection all over and all at a very good price. The staff are all nice and friendly and the place itself feels very homely which is nice. Left the place feeling very... More
