A large and airy dining room in this beautiful former landmark pub with an open kitchen and very informal service is a great place to relax and enjoy a good steak. You can see the dry aging beef on display and you can see the genuine charcoal grill at work on your steak. This is definitely not fine dining but what you do get is rustic, simple, homemade food with strong natural flavours.

Most delicious steak you can get

I visited recently with my family and it was the most delicious meal I had eaten out in a long time. Could not fault it in any way

This isn't the first time I've visited for on evening Wednesday and I have to say I've found it ware disappointing. The food failed in both textures and taste. The staff is not attentive but intrusive. Never again.

When we last ate here I gave it a rave review..........loved the service ,the atmosphere and most of all the steak. Today we returned many months later and although it was not bad......we were disappointed. The service was lacklustre no enthusiasm ..no smiles.......although polite....Both our steaks , a sirloin and a rib-eye were "chewy" to say the least and the... More

Was recommended to come here for steak- I had a Spanish jamon y queso manchego starter and an aged rump steak. The kitchen crew KNOW how to cook rare meaning "rare" and it was delightful. Peppercorn sauce is a delight! Staff are friendly. Don't expect freshly pressed linen tablecloths. It won't change the taste of the food anyway. A suggestion... More

We headed off to the Steakhouse on a Thursday night, booked for 7pm and were welcomed in by extremely friendly staff. Service was fantastic and food was beautiful. A excellent 3 course meal for 2 with a bottle of wine for £50. Excellent meal at a fantastic price.

Went for Mother's Day with the family. they were extremely busy and our table was 5 mins late but the waitress was so apologetic, we didn't complain but she gave all 7 of us a drink on the house. Food was quick and lovely. I've also arranged a hen night here before for 20 girls and they couldn't help enough... More

We visited the Two Bulls Steak House tonight. We had the 28 day 18oz T bone steak, medium rare. It was cooked to our specifications. We enjoyed the cheeseboard starter, bread and balsamic vinegar with olives. The deserts were delicious, I had a chocolate Guiness pot with cream and my daughters had the cheesecake. The service was very friendly and... More
