We went with brother and sister-in-law who are regulars. Service was warm and friendly without being over the top. Food was all freshly made and served. The steak was full of flavor and very tender. You can see the meat on the bone in a glass fronted cabinet maturing (Not for the squeamish). pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. They are only... More

Popped in early Sunday 13th April to be given a table that was booked for 2pm. Being easy going people we all (3) ordered medium rare ribeye off the lunch menu with a bowl of olives to share to start and a bottle of tempranillo all for £50.50!!!! Absolutely fab!!! Would advise you book if there are lots of you!

Had a delightful meal at the Two Bulls last Friday evening. From the first telephone call to book (I think you'd have to book) until the farewell the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. We were seated upstairs, which, with its large sea-facing windows, was a pleasure. Knowing steak was on the agenda, we started only with bread, but a... More

By Hastings' standards this is an expensive place to eat, but it's worth it. They have a very simple menu - basically steak and chips in various forms - but they do it really really well. I have been there twice and it gets busy, but I had to smile when we arrived at 6.30 pm at an empty restaurant... More

Had a delicious dinner here with my wife and daughter. We all had the Ribeye steak which was succulent and flavoursome. I would definitely go there next time I visit Hastings. Highly recommended!

My wife and I over the years have (professionally) published Restaurant reviews. Been to all sorts of establishments in UK, Europe and Sub Saharan Africa; eaten all manner of Food; discussed a variety of Chefs; studied Service; engaged in a veritable cornucopia of Atmospheres; tasted good, bad and indifferent wines; discussed a whole range of Pricing and final Bills and... Given funds, you'll never die of starvation in Hastings. There are restaurants, cafes, bistros and eateries all over the place, so there's lots of competition. In my view, head and horns above the rest is the Two Bulls. The pleasant avant guard atmosphere; the close attentive service; the top quality cuts of meat - I could go on and on... More

We ate here on a Saturday night with friends on the 2nd sitting. The steak was absolutely delicious . In fact nearly on a par with my best steak ever at Frankie and Johnnie's in New York. We also had starters which were good and for dessert my husband had peanut butter banoffee pie which he loved. The service was... More

I have tended to avoid steak houses in a long while, after some very disappointing experiences, with very tough meat and not much flavour found, in some of the usual chains. However after a couple of rave reviews from friends, we decided to give it a try. We were really not disappointed. We had the most tender steak cooked to... More
