Comfy home cooked baking and warm welcome

Lovely little place with lovely staff. If you like short people of the child variety then this is fab and kiddy friendly. Unfortunately they are not responsible for some of the free ranged children I encountered on my last visit. Thankfully I've been spared on my other four visits.

Popped in for a coffee and slice of cake. A few tables inside, quirky decor and friendly staff. Service was quick, but wish a staff member had spoken to another customer about not using speakerphone on her mobile as it really dominated. I really didn't want to hear her conversation about a childs wee wees in the pan whilst eating.... More

Normally I am a full English Breakfast kind of person, so I was confused when this wasn't on the breakfast menu. I had bubble with chilli jam and tomatoes, and ordered bacon and sausage to go with it. The chilli jam and tomatoes on top of the bubble was lovely, good bacon and great sausages too. Would definitely go again.

Wonderful breakfast. Proper Staffordshire oakcake made by Staffordshire lady . Great little cafe. This will be my first stop when I am next in St Leonard's.

We went here for lunch and can definitely say the 5 star reviews are completely justified. They sensibly focus on producing a small range of items to a highly desirable standard and the love and care taken really shows through. We opted for the cauliflower cheese & bacon quiche and were seriously impressed with both it and the accompanying salad.... More

Popped in for lunch on our anniversary and after reading previous response! I can confirm the "cash only" sign is very visible! Quiche was delicious, fish cakes very nice and service with a smile Will recommend and return

We visited this place after the excellent reviews on trip advisor. However, I do think it's quite overrated for what it is. The place is tiny with many tables; really claustrophobic. We ordered tea, coffee and two cakes. The sponge cake was flavourless and the chocolate and caramel cake was really hard to cut with the fork. They all looked... More

It was very disappointing to read your review, I can only assume you don't realise the hurt you can cause to the owner of a small independent business. In response; The cafe is called The Little Larder for a very good reason...it is "little", unfortunately if you are on the larger size you might feel it is a bit cramped.... More

Great find after reading reviews. On a street of galleries and independent shops. Range of quiches, wraps - and very fresh salad. Good for vegetarians and people who are gluten free. Very clean -with friendly but not overly attentive staff. Lovely vintage tearoom feel.
