As the title suggests this is the place to go. You can't go the seaside and not have fish and chips! This is one of the better places in Hastings. Although you might be sitting outside facing the car park, the food more than makes up for it. A very friendly waitress was there on Saturday, nothing was too much... More

Being a resident of Hastings and having tried nearly all of the many fish and chip shops this is by far the best. Always a big queue outside but worth waiting for. Delicious fresh, moist fish with thin batter. Fresh crispy and very tasty chips. Small restaurant inside with a few outside tables. Cash only and around £6 for fish... More

The tae was all sticky. I ordered pasta and a side salad. The pasta was more or less ok bit not really tasty. The salad was horrible. Many green leaves were completely rotten. Absolutely disgusting! Eat somewhere else if you want good and fresh food!

A family member who is a carer for an old folks home invited us on a coach trip day out to Hastings - we jumped at the chance knowing that a fish and chip lunch would be available and we always visit the Blue Dolphin when in Hastings. Excellent!!! Fast service but all fish cooked fresh and to order which... More

While Alan was wrong about Man U all those years ago we were surprised to find a number of youngsters working the fryers on Friday evening and they weren't great. To take away and eat fish and chips by the harbour arm will always be fantastic. This time the chips weren't properly double fried and some only just cooked rather... More

Great place, at the risk of a heart attack we went twice in three days and would have gone again if we were around longer. It really was like the old style fish and chips I enjoyed as a kid when i lived in Hastings. Huge portions with tasty flaky cod, prefect. Massive portions of chips cooked to perfection. Food... More

The best fish and chips in Hastings Old Town, and the staff are so friendly too. Not very big inside and the queue for takeaways goes on for ever..... It's well worth the wait. The fish is so white and the chips nice and crunchy. Well done Blue Dolphin.
