Great Choice

Enjoyable lunchtime in a restaurant towards the old town. Owner/Manager could seem a bit snooty but we like someone who keeps an eye on standards. Food was a very good standard. We'll be back.

Lovely restaurant situated just on there corner of The Old Town in Hastings this place has a great selection of food to choose from including some 'tasters' which are smaller starters incase you're not that famished. I had super crispy squid with chillie jam followed by a main course of Hake with chorizo which was delicious, washed down with a... More

Freshly prepared, locally sourced fish cooked to perfection. Good wine. Really comfortable surroundings. Attentive staff who know when to leave you alone. I'll be back!

Very enjoyable meal. Extremely attentive staff with good knowledge of the menu and sourced ingredients. We shared the smoked fish platter (absolutely delicious) and both our main courses were fabulous. Not the most romantic of venues but for some well cooked fish and delightful staff you can't go wrong. Will definitely return.

This restaurant is owned by the same people that own the Wild Mushroom in Westfield. We have eaten in both restaurants. We ate here in May. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend and eat here again, although did prefer the food in the Wild Mushroom which was more fine dining for an evening.

On the third attempt ( Sunday early lunch) we got a table. We eat out a lot in London and I absolutely love fish. I can honestly say this was one of the best seafood luncheons I have ever had. For the quality of the food the pice was spot on. The sea food panache ( signature dish) was sensational... More

While the rest of the meat menu looked really appetising you can't go past really fresh fish down Hastings sea front. Grilled plaice and hake served with amazing food combinations for a delicious flavour and well presented. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Will go again for a full three course as I want a seafood starter and the cheese board... More

My partner and I popped in on the off chance during the Mayday Bank Holiday, we are new to Hastings and this is a highly recommended restaurant. It took a while to get seated, they were very busy and i think some extra staff could have made everyones lives a bit easier. We ordered some cockles, and tempura prawns in... More

Super restaurant, welcoming staff, high quality food. If you get the chance, go and enjoy. It's real value, but make sure you book. Last time we went we booked the last table and at least half a dozen parties were turned away because they were full. I haven't tried their all day session where you go get the fish from... More
