On a fish-buying expedition to Hastings, chose to go to Webbe's as it was a good day and we could sit outside. Very good service and food great - shellfish platter excellent value, and fish and chips delicious. Amusing to see staff coping with arrival of 20ish Belgian classic car enthusiasts, who (with some juggling) were all found one huge... More

has improved over the Years since it opened, like the Appetizer Testers, pleased to see they took the Brown Bread Ice Cream and Knickerbocker Glory of the Menu which was a Joke.

Nice environment and service however both me and my partner felt sick all night after eating fish & chips. Would not come back again.

It's my daughters 21st, and here choice was fish and chips in Hastings - very random, plus it is pouring with rain and August Bank holiday Monday. We passed several very English Fish and Chip shops then stumbled on Webbes - a lot more up market than the others we had passed. The menu was fascinating, but I will have... More

Lovely fish/seafood restaurant on the front. Wow! What else can I say. They have a huge selection of fish/seafood on the menu. Including tasters which are smaller than a starter and very cheap too. Restaurant very clean. Staff were helpful. Ican highly recommend the seafood linguini and dab with beetroot. Food was nicely presented and service was fantastic.

Varied menu options, friendly service and a good central location contribute to a good all round experience. Food was good on our lunch visit despite it being very busy and it's certainly not overpriced.

I was so disappointed with Webbes. It holds itself out to be a great fish restaurant, but they only offered filleted fish on my visit as per the menu. Good fish restaurants usually give you the choice is to have the whole fish or fillet it at our table. The fish options were quite limited and from a group of... More

We went for lunch today. Excellent swift service and gorgeous food. They have a taster menu which is a great way to try lots of different dishes! Kids menu is also available. Really nice, thanks.

but that is not too hard! Great outdoor seating and not too much traciffic going past. Shame the they are not a little more adventurous with the fish but you only have to look at the passing trade to know why. And that is what is fun about it, you get to look at everyone walking by

My family and I regularly visit Webbes. The menu is varied and changes fairly regularly. They are serving more meat dishes which are obviously popular however it is the fresh fish that we go for. My son (9) adores the calamari and I have many favourites. It's a lovely setting, close to the sea and old town and the restaurant... More
