Very nice spot for a lunch or tea and cake. Not the cheapest in town, but the quality is there and its a NFP organisation so am happier spending my money here than in costa as I know its going to a good cause. Not a restaurant as such, but the menu is more substantial than most cafes and the... More

We went thee for a brunch. Food itself was pretty good, but they got out order wrong 3 times :( when they finally got it right it was very good. One of the best places in Hastings!

When my baby was newborn I spent many hours here as there is comfortable seating, you used to be able to reserve the sofas so you could go with a group of friends and have plenty of room. The food is average, but they change the menu up regularly which is good, their gluten free chocolate brownie is particularly delicious!... More

We were here for coffee and cake one afternoon. I was thrilled to find that all our motley crew could enjoy a treat as they offer dairy free, gluten free and vegan options for their cakes. I was also touched that rather than a tip jar the staff have a collection to fund an outreach program they run in their... More

Had a fabulous and plentiful afternoon tea here, freshly made sandwiches, homemade soft & moist coffee cake, huge scones with clotted cream and jam. I liked the fact I could choose any sandwich, cake and drink of my choice. They coped with my complex allergy and I felt very safe. Lovely staff, really friendly and lovely service.

Beautiful little cafe with a periodic set of decor to it. Selection on teas, cold drinks and cakes. Does have a lunch menu, and even though we didn't try the food - what was being served looked and smelled lovely. A beautiful find which is worth a visit for an hour.

July 8th 2014: Late afternoon so cake selection was limited to about eight or so. We were advised by the very helpful waitress that the apple & raspberry was particularly nice and moist. We weren't disappointed and even the Twinnings Earl Grey tea tasted better than one usually expects. Most of the cakes are baked on the premises too! Can... More

The cakes are to die for (all home made on site) and the afternoon cream teas are great value and out of this world (I have never managed to eat it all and not bring some home). The ambiance is wonderful - a great start, middle or end to a days shopping.

Service can be a bit variable but the food and ambience make up for it. Delicious sweet potato pie and the granary bread is always moist. This has become one of our favourite Hastings haunts.

My partner and I go into this cafe regularly - mainly on Sundays for a light lunch. The service is always very good and the food is always delicious. They also serve lovely cappuccinos. They are usually quite busy, which means the food can take some time to get to you. However, the staff always inform us if it is... More
