Heard a lot of good things about this place. so, gave it a go. I was called in the morning to confirm we would arrive at our time booked, & we would vacate in time swell.... bit strange that one! The tables were all set out nicely, and plenty empty all the time we were there, but for some reason... More

We take a table for 5 every December, we all eat different things. Last December the restaurant had gone down. The food was lacking and the service was simply awful. We all shivered we were so cold. I very nearly did not go this year and tried to find another fine restaurant near this one. Only found fast food and... More

Had dinner with work colleagues and could not believe how fabulous this little tucked away restaurant is. our food was superb, reasonably priced, and the waiter attentive but not in our faces. Definitely go again.

We dinned here on a Saturday night, had to book in early as they were busy. It was incredibly dark I could hardly see what I was eating. Mussels were fine for starter, husbands steak for his main tasted of fish. We paid up and quickly left,

This was the second visit..as we couldnt believe the first visit was so poor as to be representative of this restaurant. ..but it was...the restaurant claims that the chef is in some way involved with la Caprice. ..one can only imagine as a saucepan scrubber

A cosy, peaceful little place with great food on an extensive menu. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, including the Thai prawns and the mussel starters, pork belly, steak and risotto. Everything was great and the staff were lovely! Very much worth the slightly hefty price tag if you're looking for a special evening out.

We were at St Clements for a Sunday birthday lunch and no one had anything but praise for the food, ambience and the service.

We really enjoyed Saturday night meal at this restaurant. We booked for second sitting and the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Good choices on the menu and friendly service. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would definitely return. Very nice real ale pub nearby, Coach and Horses was good for pre dinner drink.

The food was tasty and unfussy with only the Hastings fishcakes not hitting the mark. With a little finessing or flourish the food to really good but with friendly staff and a cosy, neighborhood atmosphere at reasonable prices it is a little gem of restaurant

Fabulous food and great service. Good wine recommendations. Quiet but cosy. The belly of pork was superb. The previous reviewer who saw fit to single a member of staff out for criticism is merely being spiteful. Have you booked is a perfectly reasonably question, in fact it is all you get asked in more popular eateries, especially in london. Perhaps... More
