I haven't ever tried Grubbs, and today was my first time. I am a big fan of (good) burgers like the ones you get at Burger Brothers, Coggings or Gourmet Burger Kitchen. I have had burgers around the world, and the only good thing that I have to say about Grubbs is that they succeeded at making the worst burger... More

I have been enjoying Grubbs burgers for over 25 years. They have unfaltering wonderfulness! Even late on a Friday night, the throngs of late night revellers are calmed by Grubbs. The food is always delicious and comforting. The fact that they have always provided the choice of Vegeburger or beefburger means that a vegetarian like me can feel like an... More

Its simply the best burger joint in Brighton. The burgers are tasty and unusual and they are open extremely late at the weekends which is always a bonus. I have never been disappointed and always look forward to visiting grubbs if I am in the area!

I've been to Grubbs in Brighton a few times now and evertime i'm more than happy with the food and service. The staff have always been friendly and polite. The food is cooked to order, so you don't have to worry about eating re-ehated / over cooked food. The range of burgers is great and all the ones i've tried... More

Used to love Grubbs but they have 'sold out' of potato wedges on St James's Street every time we've been in the past 2 years, no matter how empty it's been or what day of the week we've visited. Veggie burgers often burnt and the staff seem pretty miserable.

Every time I come down to Brighton I always have to have a Grubbs Burger. They're so much nicer than the usual burger places. I just wish there was a Grubbs in the north east where I live. For the time being Hugh I'll just have to enjoy them when I'm visiting Brighton 😃🍔 I even talked my mate into... More

Love these veggie burgers and have to have one every trip to Brighton. Lots of tasty toppings to choose from. Had the original veggie burger, with relish which I would recommend. Might go and nip and get another for breakfast! ;)

Visited Grubbs last night on the way home from one of the Brighton tour walks "Murder and Mayhem" which was good fun, informative and entertaining. Back to the burger haven't been to Grubbs for ages probably a couple of years, I had forgotten how good they are the mushroom burger was mouth watering. Burgers at there finest

Don't get me wrong, I'm not slating Grubbs Diner, it's a tried and tested establishment that has served the masses well. In a culture where eating burgers is considered a lifestyle choice based on flavour, they need to improve the quality of their burgers.
