I went there today. The service was very good, the staff were friendly. The foods were small portion but it quite a big price. The taste was quite good but if you're the Japanese food lovers, you will know what I mean. You can find the one is better than this in London. But maybe it's the best Japanese restaurant... More

I like this restaurant, the food, the decor but I must say that is def not good value for money...and with the sushi places opening in Brighton recently I think I will be less tempted to go back to sushi garden in the near future...

The Sushi Garden is a good but not cheap option for japan food lovers Its situation is really convenient -close to Brighton centre- the local environment is adequate for the served food, but not very elaborated. Regarding the dishes, they are not big but their quality will satisfy most of the visitors. The sashimi was very good, as well as... More

Went with friends one of whom had eaten there before and said it was good. He was not wrong. We ate more than our fill and the Tempura was amongst the best I have eaten anywhere. Hard to fault and at about £20 a head including a decent bottle of house Sauvingnon Blanc, (no puds). I will definitely go back... More

Sushi is good but some of the dishes are expensive for the size offered e.g. Wakame Salad at £4.50 was small and half lettuce. You just get the feeling they are pushing the prices to the limit. Restaurant is usually busy so book to avoid disappointment.

Ate here yesterday for a late lunch and today I am still thinking about that bento box and the vegetable gyoza. Had the chicken katsu bento with a side of miso soup, and veg gyoza. Everything was excellent. Reasonably priced and friendly service too
