On a street filled with restaurants the amount of choice is daunting, but I would highly recommend Sushi Garden. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant had a superb atmosphere.

Been here several times and it is always good. Lovely food, friendly service. It is a little pricey perhaps compared to the other sushi places in Brighton and Hove but the food is far better.

A friend and I came to sample this joint for the first time, we walked pass it many times when we're in the area and finally ventured in this time. The food definitely taste fresh, very nice sushi rice, these are real plus points. However, we're undecided yet whether we like it or not. The pricing definitely wasn't cheap, we... More

The food here is really great and looks like fabulous value on the menu - until the bill arrives and 20% Vat is added + 20% service charge + cokes were on menu at £1.85 but on bill were £3.90. When we questioned this we were curtly told ' that's the price'. Our meal for 2 came to £45.00 which... More

This was my first time in Brighton. We had a lovely lunch here. Unforgettable experience in this restaurant as their staffs are very friendly and helpful. We ordered one suhsi set, one bento box (chicken, veg rolls, salad and tempura) and my favourite uni sushi. Quite good presentation, fresh ingredients, nice warm saka, comfy atmosphere and affordable price. However, it... More

Whenever we are in town we eat here. The food is delicious and freshly prepared and quick to the table! It's great value and the staff are very friendly. They also offer a taster menu for those that have not tried sushi before. The best place for sushi in Brighton, without doubt!

I qualify this by saying that I love Japanese food although fish eggs and eel can be off putting for some. The soft crab starter was delicious. As a main meal I had the crab broth which at £10.50 was incredible value for money. A huge bowl of steaming and spicy soup with crab legs and vegetables was delicious. It... More

Now my experience of Japanese food is limited to california sushi rolls from Waitrose for lunch - ok, I know I am a grown up and should have ventured more, but there it is. On a dank Brighton Sunday evening my partner suggested Japanese, so with abrade front i agreed. What an excellent idea, to begin with the place was... More
