Will be back to try the rest of the meal. Was sharing a snack with OH so just had the fish, it lived up to expectations!! Light and crispy batter and superb fish with excellent vinegars. Can't wait to try more.

Just needed a snack lunch and knew this was well reviewed so grabbed a fish. A large to share. Batter was gorgeous and fish really lovely and tasty. Well deserved of its good recommendation. Will go back for the full works as soon as we can.

This restaurant is a little way out of the main town centre, but easily walkable in 10-15 minutes at the most. We were seated in the conservatory, which has a slightly tatty feel to it, but we hadn't booked, so I guess better tables weren't available. We ordered two portions of haddock and chips, with mush peas, plus a very... More

Knowing my friends and I wanted fish and chips while visiting Brighton I Googled "best fish and chips in Brighton" and Bardsley's was the top recommendation by Google reviewers. We spotted Baker Street on the coach drive down London Road to the sea front and we also noticed that London Road is lined with Charity shops! Once the coach dropped... More

Bardleys is a super friendly and lovely fish & chip restaurant in Brighton. It feels like a family run it- and that's the sort of service you get. Mega friendly and wonderful. The fish was fantastic and chips just like your Nan would make. I'll definitely return!

I've popped in to Bardsleys a few times over the years and it's always very good. Great, welcoming staff, good portions and well priced. I swung by the other day when in Brighton for work and had the black cod which was delicious, lovely big flaky fish. It's a little out of the way but well worth seeking out

We read some good reviews about this chippie and thought we would give it a go. We have been to Brighton a few times and have been disappointed with some of the fish and chip shops. The fish and chips were OMG the best we have had for a long time. There was a group of 7 of us and... More

The fish and chips were amazing (we had between us cod, haddock and scampi)! The mushy peas were spot on (which is rare in the South)! All the staff were very friendly and had a laugh with us! I will be back and I would definitely recommend it!

We arrived just before closing time and although they were just finishing the chap who served us made us feel welcome and cooked us something fresh. He even let us sit and eat on the table outside, although it was takeaway only. The food itself was as good as it gets for a fish and chip shop. It's easy to... More
