Loved it here!

We were in Brighton for a couple of nights and ate here on the first evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and between the two of us we could easily have eaten everything on the menu - it all sounded and looked so tasty! My boyfriend has mussels to start - a huge bowl full - and I... read more

Good food, but only worth the premium prices for the position when the sun is shining. Can't really knock anything but with the competition in Brighton restaurants you can eat comparable if not better food a lot cheaper. Wines also top prices

If on your first or second or third try cannot locate this eccentric little place keep asking (the locals). The hunt is worth it. This is a casual place with shared tables. An brand new waitress was ably assisted by Molly who quickly provided excellent food recommendations. The "catch of the Day" is listed on the blackboard. We had several... More

3 of us ate but only one got fed. A friends 50th treat was disappointing for myself as the non fish option was tiny and overpriced for 3 small balls of cheese and creamed leeks however he had a crab platter and was stuffed plus the decor is outstanding . OK its not a veggie orientated menu but the portion... More

I returned to this restaurant with a VIP friend (a TV presenter) after telling him about the wonderful food. A huge disappointment. My friend had about seven tiny prawns for his starter and my seafood linguine had about five small pieces of seafood and lots of empty shells.. When we complained we were given complimentary puddings but this did not... More

Unless you regularly spend £100.00 plus on a meal for 2 then R&F will be for special occasions. However the food was great. The standout dish for me was the Smoked Haddock with Colcannon, poached egg, prosciutto and champagne sauce - simply wonderful

A good spot to enjoy some amazing fish dishes. Excellent staff. Chose to sit outside was chilly once the sun went down, is England after all but the restaurant do provide blankets. Quite romantic

Staff, service and food are always amazing! Get there early on a sunny day if you would like a table outside - there is often a queue! Book early for a table at the weekend. its worth it!
