Really Lovely!

Wonderful food. I like the open kitchen and the high seating. My starter of scallops with chorizo and chilli were a juicy taste of the sea and not overpowered by the cleverly balanced spice. My whole Dover sole was huge, with side orders of green beans and saute potatoes. Sole was absolutely... read more

Easily some of the best seafood I have had in the world combined with a lovely service with a relaxed atmosphere. Nice view of the beach and seaside (as it was the beach Riddle and Finn). Fantastic restaurant all round.

We ate here Easter weekend and had a superb meal, unhurried and everyone's food was excellent. Fish pie was especially good, I would thoroughly recommend and plan to go back.

We had lunch here today and it was absolutely delicious. I had a few oysters followed by whiting and Philippe had the squid with chorizo. All with a very nice cold bottle of white wine. It was hot and we have both burnt our races a bit but it was totally worth it. The food was delicious and the staff... More

We are here a couple of Saturday's back. It was a dream! We had booked a table for 6.30 and were told when we booked we had the table for only 2 hours - plenty of time for us, although we didn't feel rushed at any point. Upon arriving the maitre d Lucy, asked if we would like to maybe... More

Went to the main restaurant a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. Went to the arches and loved it. The lady who I assume was supervising was great and our waiter was affable. Tempura Monkfish cheeks as a starter with sweet dipping sauce was crispy and tasty. Halibut with mash and wild shrooms disappeared quickly. A pleasant evening.

As a family we were recommended to splash out a little and enjoy the delights on offer in this establishment. Rather yummy fresh Fish and Seafood dishes. Hearty portions...well presented...nicely seasoned. I particularly enjoyed the Whitebait....hot, crisp and moreish. My smoked Haddock main course was a substantial plated delight. Unlikely you will leave here feeling hungry. Staff who smile and... More

Wow..my first and definitely not my last visit the this wonderful, well respected, fish food restaurant. The restaurant is simple by nature, understated, leaving the food to do the talking ! WOW..it most certainly does, attended by polite and knowledgeable staff, the menu is excellent, with complementary breads and tasty treats whist waiting for what is an excellent food experience...have... Best welcome we've had in a restaurant for ages. Three of us had Jersey oysters, followed by gambas in garlic and chilli, scallops and whitebait. Scallops were fat and juicy and the only complaint was that there weren't more of them. To follow, two of us ate the sea bass with a langoustine and an amazing crustacean sauce, dotted with... More

Myself and my partner ate here when we visited Brighton on Easter Sunday. We dined at the seafront restaurant which had a lovely setting. The staff were attentive and the food was delicious and well presented. I had the bream which was excellent and my partner had the seagood fish curry. The tables were not too close together and the... More
