Description: Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant...
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.

Excellent Vegetarian Restaurant

Wow, an excellent vegetarian restaurant. The food tastes gorgeous and the presentation is art on a plate. The service was very good too. They advised us what was on the menu and were very attentive. I will definitely go back

Sorry for the delayed response in reviewing. I took my mum here for lunch in February after a disaster birthday meal elsewhere the night before! I had raved about this place since my last visit and it was time to go back again. It lived up to expectations and blew us all away! We were a group of 2 vegans,... More

I have been to Terre a Terra many times and I really enjoy the food every time, the price is a bit too much personally but the main thing that bothers me is their menu. I know what I do and don't like to eat so I need to know what's in my meal, when the title doesn't make sense... More

We always used to go to terre terre as thought the food wonderful but in our last visit over a year ago we ordered the plate that used to be a sample of many things on the menu and were very disappointed. Instead of the wonderful array of small samples we were given a dish to share between us that... More

We originally had booked for this restaurant a couple of years ago when staying in Brighton but unfortunately there was a fire in the kitchen, so the place closed for a while. Fortunately this time everything was working and we turned up in good time to be welcomed warmly and shown to our table straight away. I had feared that,... More

The haloumi fish and chips incredible. All the food was great and the wine. The waiter told us staff tend to stay for years. He was new, only three years. This place is getting something right. Not cheap, but worth it.

This vegetarian restaurant is so good that one forgets it is vegetarian. The food is exceptional and the wine list is great. I started with a share of Roast Maple Radicchio and Warm Sticky Pear (this is the edited version). Plus a Smoked Tomato and Rocket Salad. Followed by an Aubergine Dengaka, slow soft baked aubergine, sizzled with tahini, sesame and... More
