Description: Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant...
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.

A vegetarian restaurant that has existed in Brighton for at least twenty years. I remember going maybe 15 years ago when we last visited the city and its amazing pavilion. On Sunday we returned to brighton and, after exploring the lanes, we discovered the restaurant again - much changed - and decided to give it a go for lunch. There... More

I came here with my dad and I just didn't know what to order. There were many vegan choices but every option had a confusing paragraph written about it. I need not have worried though because as soon as my wonderful waitress arrived she explained every item for me in perfect simplicity for my hungry mind! Suddenly I knew exactly... More

I came with my parents for a Friday night dinner. We managed to get a table outside which was a lovely bonus. My parents had been before and it was my first time. I started with the avocado, which was absolutely delightful. I then had the tapas main, which samples many of the dishes on the menu. It was delicious!... More

Meet the new family in neutral setting where no sharp knifes are needed, wasn't sure what to expect however the wine list won 5 stars as did our new waitress (only started two weeks before we arrived) we showed her how you should make a wish in the bottle. Food was amazing ( it was pea week) even if sometimes... More

There were a couple of good things about this meal, here they are: 1. The starters were good 2. When the manager became involved in our complaint he was very polite and helpful. Overall though this was not a good experience, not helped by being on the receiving end of the waitress from hell. This place asks for its tables... More

Nice to see a place with good veggie food and more thought put in than a mushroom risotto. It's not a place I'd go to every week as expensive and to busy to accommodate me and friends but a nice treat every few months and it's reliably good.

Made a booking as down on Pride weekend in Brighton. The restaurant was very busy. Service was relaxed but attentive when it needed to be. Didn't have a starter so went for the vegetarian take on "fish & chips" made with halloumi cheese in batter as the fish, herb potatoes etc. - all very lovely and very filling. I also... More

I have recently turned gluten and dairy free and am finding eating on the go to be very difficult. A friend and I took a day trip to Brighton yesterday and turned to Buzzfeed for a list of things to do in Brighton and this restaurant popped up. I am so glad it did! This is easily one of the... My sister and I wandered past this place and although there were only a few people in there, we fortunately popped in to reserve a table for a bit later on. We came back an hour or so later and it was packed! Instantly a great buzz and holiday vibe when we went in. The service was friendly, relaxed but... More
