Description: Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant...
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.

Very good

We visited Terre a Terre with family for dinner. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and it was very busy. The menu was mind boggling, it was so hard to choose from the huge choice. I noticed another table had a male waiter who explained to them what everything was, I wish we had had him... read more

Beautiful in every way. The food was stunning, every single course was inspired and packed with wonderful flavours. The environment was pleasantly unassuming and modest, leaving the food to speak for itself. Truly fantastic.

One word. Amazing. This is coming from a meat eater. My wife is a vegetarian so wanted to go as she heard great things. We were not disappointed. We had the Tapas sharer for two. The different flavours and combinations were delightful. I didn't miss meat. The restaurant was clean and bright. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful.... More

Took a friend here for a treat and we thouroughly enjoyed it. The service was top notch, the atmosphere was great and the food was awesome. It is a bit pricey but worth it as a treat.

We finally got our meal, as last time we were in Brighton they were closed for refurbishment. We were gutted! However it was worth the wait. The service from Barry and the rest of the staff was top draw, dishes explained, personal insights and friendly. The food was delicious, being a vegan and having choices on each course was lush... Lovely food even though we are not vegetarian. Very friendly staff. Would return. We shared starters which were good size portions for lunchtime.

I am a vegetarian, and my husband is not - and I think this may be a new favourite restaurant for both of us! If you want meat free food that is inventive, imaginative and nothing like what you'd make at home I would thoroughly recommend Terre a Terre. The menu was packed full of lovely things and made you... More

This used to be my favourite restaurant. Husband and I went here this week for our anniversary dinner. So gutted I did not go elsewhere. Bland uninspiring meals, undercooked giant chips, service meh even though restaurant only 1/3 full. Also surprised that since our last visit two years ago nothing has changed, the decor is looking dated and the food... More
