Outstanding food and first class service

Excellent high-end Indian cuisine, not your typical high street fayre. Had poppadums, masala dosa, and Alleppey Prawn Moilee from the dinner menu. all excellent, washed down with a bottle of Tucker and interspersed with some lovely amuse bouche including tomato & lentil soup, and lychee ice cream.. Superbly presented, excellent service.

This easily overlooked restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We were just wandering past and fancied a curry, but what we got was much more. Great food, reasonably priced with tasty little extras between courses. Good service and a decent range of beverages. We'll definitely be calling again the next time we're Brighton way.

We went to this restaurant as the reviews were good and we were not disappointed. We found this restaurant to be different to any other Indian restaurant that we have previously been in. The surrounding were fresh and modern, the service excellent but the real difference was the menu, we found ourselves trying food we have never had before and... More

This is so far one of the best restaurants in Brighton and Hove. It is not the typical Indian restaurant with huge portions and "commercialized" food. All the dishes are well presented and the flavours are mixed with experience and attention to details. The outcome is just an amazingly savory meal, which makes you go back to the restaurant again... Brighton can be a frustrating place to visit by road as it seems to be one traffic jam after another but a recent visit to Indian Summer in East Street made us forget all those traffic niggles. This cozy, unassuming restaurant is just a stagger from the seafront and offers an interesting and not over large menu. The front of... More

A visit to this restaurant is always a treat. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff attentive and helpful. A tip it is often on Vouchercloud with generous discounts. Highly recommended.
