Have eaten a couple of times at this restaurant and both times the food was excellent. It could possibly be one of my favourites in Brighton.

I was recommended to try this restaurant by a Brighton local when I expressed an interest in Indian food - however this place is anything but a typical curryhouse. Prior to our starters, we were served a little shot of what I think was a cumin and chickpea soup. Really invigorating! The starters were full of interesting flavours, and were... More

We had our Christmas dinner there just last night and the food was all sorts of adjectives including delicious, sumptuous, interesting, unique, varied, and just generally amazing. There was so much thought put into each dish and all the dishes were presented in unique ways. Some places serve all there food in tins, others on cutting boards and so on.... More

If you are looking for a standard econmical indian meal perhaps this is not for you.The menu delivers many variations of indian cusine which would not be available on the generic indian circuit, and as a consequence it is a little expensive. The service was brilliant with every server telling you exactly what was being served and it had afew little "extras"... This restaurant is a real find. Stunning genuine Indian food (as opposed to Bangladeshi). Great service from Italian and Polish and Lithuanian staff. The service really is so friendly and outstanding; they have a real customer service attitude and appear to really enjoy what they are doing. I have been many times and will continue so to do. If you... More

We booked a table at 9.00 for six people on a Friday night. We had tried booking the Chilly Pickle, but 6.30 only available so chose Indian Summer. All of us enjoy our curries but this place is not like your normal curry house e.g. menu. The menu was explained to us by a very helpful member of staff and... More

My favourite restaurant in Brighton. Great food, different from the usual Indian, and excellent service. They organised a private lunch party for my husband's birthday. It was wonderful. Minesh is an amazing chef and Tim and his staff could not have looked after us better. I would recommend Indian Summer for lunch or dinner. My favourites are the dosas and... More

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was a little disappointed by the food, but that is only because of its rave reviews and my overly high expectations. The service was amazing, the environment was relaxing and stylish and the attention to detail, such as the cleansing sorbet between courses, was rather special. The food was beautifully presented...
