Let me start by saying I am NOT one of the 'give me the hottest curry you can or I will say that the food was rubbish' brigade. I eat a lot of Indian food and prefer tasty 'regional' dishes to fiery 'generic' curries. I must say the menu had me pretty excited...no jalfrezi, no madras, no korma, instead we... More

The place was very quiet this bank holiday Saturday. We went for the thalis and a beer ( drinks are generally pricey). The meat thali was good but the veggie ones lacked flavour and were just a little too bland... ...not what we want in an Indian! Service was nice enough but the whole experience this lunchtime was just a... More

The setting and service are fine, but the food (kind of fusion Indian wanna be) isn't to my taste and is, to my opinion very expensive for what it is.

The waiter was very accommodating and recommended curry to suit 3 children aged 6-10 - they loved it! I had the Tuna which was excellent, tasty and exiting. Only regret - should have had the two course meal.

I live locally and come here a lot. Quite pricey, because they only do set s, but definitely worth it. I don't think I've ever eaten better Indian food anywhere else. Love the mini palate cleansing mango sorbets etc. Feels quite upmarket, but not stuffy.

Ate here with a couple of friends. IS offers a very comprehensive , reasonably priced fixed price menu. Lots of choice of meat, fish and vegetarian starter and main courses, most of which can be prepared gluten free. Friendly and attentive staff and a good ambiance. I'm going to have to come back several times to work my way though... More

This restaurant serves very small portions of fairly straightforward Asian food. I liked the food but is massively overpriced

Went for the lunch menu. It was ok- nothing amazing and definitely not the cheapest. I had heard great things about this place but it was very very average. Also had a bad experience with the service- card machine not working and the owner(? or manager) said it was probably that I had no money on my card. Very rude,... More

After 15years in Brighton and walking past the restaurant last night Monday 18th August. My partner and I had a wonderful meal. Both agreed when we eat out and want Indian meal. We will only go there

The food is exceptionally delicious and well presented. It is not like those ordinary Indian restaurants in UK, serving English Indian food. It is authentic Indian food and use good quality of ingredients and spices. However we did not know they only provide 2-course meal for £22 in the evening until we were offered the menu. I think they should... More
