Having read the great comments on Tripadvisor myself and my friends were really expecting something very special when it came to a good curry in Brighton, instead we got what can only be described as ponsey (not sure of correct spelling, sorry). It started off with a fabulously attentive waitress followed by a rude Italian waiter (possibly head waiter) who... More

This was the second time I've been here, and the mrs and I absolutely loved it (again). Good friendly service, nice atmosphere and above all quality food, we highly recommend if you're looking for Indian food with a twist.

If you are looking for a run of the mill curry house, this is not for you. This is not your average "star of bengal". If however you would like to try a more refined and different curry experience, then head in. It really is great. Atmosphere, service and quality of our 3 course meal was excellent. I would definately... More

We were expecting a lot more foodwise especially after all of the hype that went into the menu and presentation. Set menu is a little limiting (but i think they will go a la carte if you ask) and the food was OK. Chicken and lamb a little stringy and spicier than ordered. service is good - ambience is fine... We noticed this resturant whist exploring the lanes during our day out in Brighton. Having seen many many other places to eat during the day we were drawn back to Indian Summer. As we had a long drive home we ate early, getting there at 6pm and were the first customers. By the time we left it was very nearly... More

An excellent curry from start to finish. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! The quality of the dishes was of a high standard and it was very reasonably priced.

We had a great meal there last night - one veggie and one not! The sword fish starter was magnificent, the paneer kebabs fabulous as starters. Thalis don't look huge but very filling. The front of house manager Tim couldn't have been more welcoming. We booked early and knew we'd have to vacate table by 7.30 but there was no... More
