From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel special. The service is outstanding, the food is superb & there is nothing to fault! Go & experience this (but not when I want a table lol), you will love it.

Ate here on a busy Friday night in September. A bit different but all the more worth visiting for it. The food was excellent (rack of lamb). Like any other busy restaurant in Brighton it was a bit noisy for my rural bumpkin tastes but not as bad as some other establishments in this neck of the woods. The staff... More

Well presented menu and good for special dietary needs e.g. gluten free (which I need). The service is good, unhurried and reasonably priced. The ambiance is good. The food is well presented and a lovely flavour. I had the set lunch and was not dissapointed. Good lunch time options. Must try an evening visit sometime!

I stayed in Brighton with a friend last Friday and she gave me a choice of restaurants to eat in. Having googled them all and looked at the menus I decided on this one. Boy am I glad I did. There was an assortment of options on the menu and I'm not too adventurous when it comes to Indian food.... More

Beautifully presented food my fish dishes were excellent but my partner chose the shoulder of lamb which he said tasted like a pate ( e acute). I didn't believe it and tasted some and I had to agree with him that it wasn't nice. Maybe it had been marinated but it didn't taste right. Shame as I loved my food.

After visiting this restaurant many years ago we chose it for a Sunday evening dinner. The menu promises an exciting array of mainly Indian based fusion dishes. The complex combinations of spices and ingredients deliver interesting although subtle flavours. The food was all 'very nice', but not exceptional. In a relatively empty restaurant the service was generally efficient, with a... More

Both the food and the surroundings could be described as "posh Indian". The food, both in presentation and in flavours was excellent. Had lots of choices which we're not used to seeing on an Indian menu in Scotland. Because we went early in the evening the restaurant was very quite and so a bit lacking in atmosphere.

Went back to IS this evening and yum it was brill. It is always high quality, yummy, flavoursome, tasty food and the service, although on occasion can be a hit or a miss, on the whole it is really solid. Look forward to our next visit.

The prawn curry was not cooked well. I could taste the bitterness as the spices were still a bit uncooked. The King prawn was a lie. It was basically medium sized prawn. The curry lacked the taste of coconut. The paneer as starter was not warm at all. But The hospitality was superb. The Bombay chai was also nice.
