An amazing meal

Visited here last night and couldn't recommend more highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff, who promptly showed us to our table. We had visitors to Brighton and we were doing our obligatory walking tour around Brighton. It was starting to rain and our tummies were rumbling. We happened to be close to Food for Friends and managed to persuade our fussy/conservative meat eaters guests this could be a good place. I always say this place does great english food and then... We tried 3 appetizers: fried tofu with chili sauce, goat cheese arancici, quinoa with peas...all were delicious. We were waiting at the door when they opened at noon and got the best seat in the curved window! I did not like the cucumber water. Waiter was very nice. Nice decor also.

Dunnichan Stone, Forfar up to now has been well worth stopping for lunch or more, but was totally disappointed with today's Menu. Nothing jumped out at me and was nothing like it was when it first opened. The staff were OK but again there was not such a friendly atmosphere. Will probably give it one more try before finding another... More

I always go to Food for Friends when I visit Brighton, their food is so imaginative. I am a coeliac and they know exactly what is in their food, the staff are very attentive and there is a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant. I took my husband to the restaurant, interestingly neither of us are vegetarians but there food is... More

My partner and I had planned on eating here whilst in Brighton but did not reserve a table beforehand; it was busy on arrival with bookings all night however we were very kindly accommodated for and how happy we were as a result! The menu has a variable selection from starters to desserts - normally we would order one starter... More
