Brilliant and excellent choice

Go here regularly. Just about to undergo a refit - hope it all goes OK. Will be straight back as soon as it reopens. Food and service both faultless.

Like any great vegetarian restaurant, you simply don't need to be vegetarian to come here. The food is well made and well presented in a lovely atmosphere. Perhaps a tad pricey but you get what you pay for!

Went here for lunch in May and was great. I'm not a vegetarian but knew that the food here is good from friends, so had to visit. Great menu - would have happily ordered lots of the dishes and so was spoilt for choice. Had scotch egg starter and "fish" (halloumi) and chips which were totally yummy. Friendly and swift... More

We had not been to Food for Friends for over 15 years when it was still self service. We were suitably impressed by the changes in decor, table service and choice of food. Our meals were all delicious and our friend who had wanted fish and chips in Brighton really enjoyed her vegetarian meal and will now take her daughter... More

Food for friends is now serving the best vegetarian food in Brighton. Unusual combinations, incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. Just about to have a refurb so should be even better!

We booked a table (essential) for a family meal. We'd read about how popular the restaurant is on Trip Advisor and so had good expectations. The staff were very friendly and offered good, welcoming service. The restaurant setting is lovely. A very pleasant building - light, airy and with very tasteful decor. Three of us had the delicious sounding halloumi... More

We visited this restaurant about a month ago on a Sunday afternoon. The place was full., which is always a good sign. As all of us being meat eaters we were a little bit dubious as to what to expect.. Well I can tell you that the food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully,we didn't feel that we had missed... More

We shared three starters (Crispy Tofu, Scotch Egg, Arancini) between two of us, then I had the "Wild garlic potato gnocchi" and my partner had the "Food for Friends 'fish' and chips". All the food was excellent and the service was great too.

Just realised I have not reviewed this place, this has to be one of the best places I've eaten, being vegetarian and with a nut allergy it can be hard to find somewhere which has more than one choice on the menu even at Vegetarian restaurants. The dessert is also worth having, can't wait to go back next time I... More
