Excellent family sushi restaurant

We had a very nice family lunch. The children , (4, 8 and 11) had the children menu. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. One of the adults is vegetarian and one is celiac, we informed the waitress, and she recommended us special dishes. All very fresh and tasty. Book a table because... read more

I love this place! Friendly bar tenders, table service too. I didn't know what to order so I just asked for a sassy rum and and pineapple drink and I got this delicious cocktail! So many drinks to choose from and happy hour lasts till 8 or 9! Be careful, you can easily leave this place tipsy, I'll be back!

We had intended to eat at Wagamamas but the weather was so lovely we craved a table outside. We were drawn to this restaurant by it's location's right by the theatre, opposite the Dome in a pedestrianized street. It looked pricier than Wagamamas, but the outside terrace was too good to miss. In fact our bento boxes were good value... More

A little on the expensive side, however the sushi is of much better quality that other sushi restaurants in Brighton. Lovely location, and the owner takes huge pride in his restaurant.

We were walking by with my girlfriend, when this restaurant suddenly caught our attention. We both enjoy Japanese cuisine and that's why we really couldn't miss the chance to try this restaurant out. It either was our mood or service was fairly good with the staff smiling a lot and being generally polite. The main course was delicious enough to... More

On the hottest day of the year, we were attracted to the fab. location next to the Theatre Royal, an outdoor area with trees above us and a lovely cool breeze. The service was polite but amateurish, and the food when it arrived was bordering on unpleasant. Strangely enough, we ate there in May during the Brighton Festival and had... More

We had a very enjoyable evening dining with our university student daughter. Wonderful food with probably the best sushi we have experienced, along with very pleasant & helpful staff. Can't wait for a return visit !

My wife and I went there for an easy Japanese night out. We had some cocktails up stairs first which were not great. The alcohol measures were clearer on the lean side. We had a meal there also which was ok at best. The food tasted nice but the place lacked atmosphere plus plus. We felt it was over priced... More

If you are after service with a smile, not too formal and a relaxed environment then don't look further. For the price.....better than London Japanese restaurants at that level. Thank you for a great evening!

Over-priced food which is mediocre at best - staff come over as arrogant & unhelpful. Potentially could be much better due to a great location.
