I have now eaten here 4 times and never been disappointed. For such a large, busy restaurant they are seamlessly efficient and prompt of service with excellent quality food. Not sure how they do it ,but they do .Somehow they deliver quick service of excellent food at about 30% less than other Brighton resturants. Staff are superb. This place is so... More

Went here for a celebratory meal with a large group. All I can say is large portions very little flavour. The food came out in stages due to group size but it was exceptionally low quality. Dense, flavorless and stodgy. I'm baffled why the reviews on here have any commendations I'd never recommend this venue and would not return. There... More

Went on a very busy saturday evening and were accommodated despite not booking. Busy with large groups, many celebrating birthdays, stag do's etc. Service speedy and reasonable given the amount of people, food a little disappointing but perhaps to be expected given the circumstances!

Donatellos is famous in Brighton for being "cheap & cheerful" but I am not a fan. Ive been there a few times over the years. The pizzas are just about ok, but the pasta i have eaten there is always watery and tasteless. The staff seem to be overworked and most of the time when i've eaten there i have... More

Having walked past this restaurant many times on past visits to Brighton, finally decided to stop here for lunch on my most recent visit.... and i wasn't disappointed. Restaurant was busy, lots of families etc. and a bit noisy. However shown to a nice table in the window. Good menu with lots of choice. Pasta was good with lots of... More

For us, as locals, Donatello is a nationwide "benchmark" - the restaurant to which we end up comparing all others. Why? Well, what you have here is a very comprehensive fixed-price menu, 3 courses for around £12.00 including the service charge. We've met potential mdiners eying up the menu outside and saying that it can't be very good at those... More

Came here for a family meal whilst visiting brighton, restaurant was nicely decorated and we enjoyed looking at the pictures going up the stairs of all the famous who have been to the restaurant! However, the ladies toilets were disgusting! Toilet roll all over the floor but no toilet roll to use, toilets wouldn't flush and the water out the... More

My husband and I went to this traditional Italian restaurant for dinner during our stay in Brighton. We both love Italian food and my husband is part Italian so we can be hard to please! But the food here was very nice. Lots of choice on the menu which was good. My spaghetti was perfectly cooked and the sauce lovely... More

My nine year old Son picked this restaurant to have lunch in and what a good choice. Both the food and service was good and the tab was £25 for two, will definitely return.
