Good, but a bit pricey

Very expensive for the portion size you get! You'd expect more from the same prices in London. Still tastes good, atmosphere is nice and restaurant is funky-style.

Went to Moshimo last Saturday at 5:30pm with a group of friend. We knew it was nice but every single course was saulty, not appetising and what s worst we all 6 got tummy ache for 2 days. I wrote to the Manager to let them know in order to improve but they didn't even bother offering a green tea... More

My partner and I visited Moshimo in June, and had a very mixed experience. First things first - the service was EXCELLENT throughout, and they did all they could to make us welcome and happy. The venue itself is nicely, and tastefully, decorated. So, the food. My partner, not vegetarian, ordered: Chicken gyoza, prawn tempura, and chicken teriyaki with rice,... More

Can't compare this really but It was amazing food, good menu, excellent service, whenever I'm down that way a must do. Big thank you to the staff, particularly Rosa who attended to us.

Moshimo is a single storey building slightly tucked away in Bartholomew Square and dwarfed by the adjacent buildings. Unprepossessing, It looks rather like a temporary structure put up by the council to store cleaning equipment. Steps up to the entrance but some tables outside which might suit the disabled. Bench seating in the restaurant itself with some bar stools. Food... More

I have been meaning to send my review in as I have been returning every time I am In Brighton. I have used this fabulous airy and friendly restaurant with family, friends and just the two of us. It's great when there are a few of you as you have the chance to taste more of the offerings. The sashimi... More

I very much enjoyed my first visit here despite slow service. I am on an extremely restricted diet at the moment so was looking forward to my selection of tuna sushi and other dishes only to find out they had no tuna whatsoever and were unable to make too many changes to other dishes to make them suitable for me....
