Moshimo is one of Brighton's most popular restaurants, with a fiercely loyal customer base: 35% of its customers dine at the restaurant at least once a week. They visit regularly because they know the staff, and know how good the food is.The restaurant's 50% MOSHIMO MONDAYS & TUESDAYS, where members receive 50% off their food, is a sell-out. This restaurant has one big problem - the service (or lack of it)

So I think Moshimo serves ok food. But on the Saturday night we went it was crazy busy and I kept having to get up from my seat and ask a waiter to come to our table. I think they do their job ok but whoever owns this restaurant needs to employ more people. Plus the manager was very stressed... read more

Was really looking forward to eating here but... sushi on the conveyor was tired and dried out.. tried a few but not good.. we then ordered some freshly made to give that a go.. cornish crab handroll was very nice but the tuna nigiri had rice just above freezing which had obviously come straight out of the fridge and was... I visited this restaurant on Monday with friends. The waitress was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations. The food was delicious and there was so much choice. I particularly enjoyed the kimchi and the yakatori platter. We got the membership cards and it was definitely worth it as we saved 40 pounds. I will definitely be coming back... More

Sitting at the bar you can watch the 'chef' prepare the sushi. By prepare I mean get a tray out of the fridge of pre prepared sushi and put it on a plate. The bar are was cluttered and dirty with food on the floor. Food was being placed on plates right next to and open and overflowing bin. If... More

Great and fresh food since the last 9 years I have been coming to this restaurant. 50% off food promotion always welcome and there is no compromise on the food quality! Ethical, tasty and all served with a smile! A must for anyone that loves proper Sushi and more!

We went to Moshimo for a Saturday night dinner. It is an interesting Japanese Restaurant with large food selection and lovely fish served on rotating belts. Initially I wished we could seat at an independent table, just for ourselves- having booked some hours before. Instead, we were given seats at the narrow table that goes along the food belt (very... First off, the great things about this place: The food is spot on, and vegan options are plentiful and innovative. The vegan bento box and vegan duck teriyaki are some of the best Japanese dishes I have had. The matcha milkshake is also great. Previously I have visited when it was quiet and all has been good. Now on to... More

Moshimo is fast becoming one of my favourite Brighton places to eat. It is consistently good food which is always fresh and not overly greasy - so I always leave feeling healthy and satisfied. The 50% off for card holders, all day every day and night, in January looks like it will be extended so it is also really great... More

The 50% deal is excellent value and provides a great opportunity to sample some dishes you won't have tried before, from the menu or the conveyor belt. Keep it going please - there's much more to try.

Went there for lunch with my girlfriend who had been before and raved about the place. After my visit I will not be going back there again. Was seated and before I had even had a chance to look at the menu was being asked about drinks, a little to quick for my liking. When we did order it came... More
