I visited the Gingerman on 23rd march to celebrate a milestone birthday of my pregnant partner. She was disappointed that she could not drink alcohol and so the staff created a non alcoholic cocktail for her including her favourite flavours. The food was delicious and a special mention for the mackerel starter which was as delicious as any starter I... More

Always great food, wine and service. Its a small, intimate restaurant, however, you don't feel crowded. Its a guaranteed good food everytime and the waiting staff are attentive without hovering or asking 'is everything ok' when its obvious you have a mouthful! We arrived far too early, the restaurant wasn t even open! but we were welcomed in anyway! I... More

I was very excited to be invited to a meal at the Gingerman and expected a top notch meal. What I had was average at best and did not excite me in the slightest. I had Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Mushroom Veloute and Chervil as the starter followed by Fillet of Sea Bass with Crushed Potatoes and Sauce Vierge. I... More

We went back here twice last year having had our wedding reception here in 2012. This is such a brilliant restaurant and the staff are wonderful. They remembered our names from our wedding and have always greeted us warmly. The quality of the food is superb and it is not over priced when you experience the quality. There are extras... More
