Lovely meal

Food was really great, perfectly cooked and well presented. Beautiful fresh fish. Impeccable service.. Wine a little on the high price side.

I went to the GB1 restaurant with a couple of girlfriends for a drink and a light meal and we had a really lovely experience. My friends had some champagne but I'm not drinking alcohol at the moment, so the staff at the restaurant made me some amazing virgin cocktails - I recommend the very berry! I had the moules... More

Well what can we say – Just Perfect. We arrived early and were seated at the Cocktail Bar. I was concerned as we really wanted a table but they were fully booked. We were seated as a two towards the end of the bar and this worked well. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left (some 3.5... More

Went into the Grand Hotel for a drink on Sunday lunch time as we were visiting Brighton and I wanted to see what the hotel interior was like. Had a drink in the bar, the restaurant looked lovely and although we had gone with the intention of only having a drink we decided to have lunch. Although they were very... More

We met up with family for afternoon tea yesterday. We have been before so our excitement levels were high! Sadly we were disappointed - the levels of service were exceptional - the waiter was excellent - the scones were beautiful BUT the sandwiches were a selection of two - smoked salmon and cream cheese - the glorious beef and horseradish... This is the place to go for seafood! I ordered the bream which tasted like the ocean - so fresh. What wasn't mentioned on the menu was that it was a whole fish which is great for portion size but bad for the bones! My partner ordered the chicken which came with chips and watercress and tomatoes. He ordered a... More

The grand was beautiful, the restaurant was stunning with picturesque views, and the food was divine. I had the lobster with honey mustard potatoes and creamy spinach and my partner had the steak with langoustines and mange tout, plus the service was excellent i had the best birthday a girl could ask for and can't wait to go again, thank... We had the perfect dining experience at GB1 last night! We were treated to warm, attentive service from the moment we stepped into the restaurant to when we left. The team are genuinely focused on ensuring you have a wonderful evening. Our table was beautifully set with sea views, the menu is focused on fish, freshly caught on the same... More

Went on a Friday evening had a lovely window seat in the conservatory. The food was excellent, and even though the menu was mainly seafood, my partner said he had one of the best fillet steaks & pepper sauce ever. Despite the high quality and service, the prices are not too high. I strongly recommend starting your meal with the... More
