The Blue Man is a relaxed and informal Cafe-Bar with North African flavour. You can pop in for coffee (best in town!), Amazing selection of tea, a lovely wine list or a bit of food if you're hungry. We're chilled and informal and will make you feel very welcome. In the evening we host live events, acoustic nights, dancing, DJs and parties. Pop downstairs and feel a world away from the hustle and bustle in a haven that's a home away from home...

Great little find

With just 3 nights to sample the many delights of Brighton, we came across Blue Man. I'm always attracted to bars that play cool background music. This place did it for me. It was a wet Summer's evening in Brighton and we arrived into The Blue Man to be greeted by the Man behind the counter. While I was ordering from him he was friendly& also laughed at my stupid jokes and was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Two minutes after ordering he came to our table to explain that... More

Fantastic fresh mint tea, great food, good vibes, a Brighton classic - characterful and unique. Judging from the number of times I find myself explaining to friends and neighbours where to find this lovely cafe and bar, it seems it's easy to overlook it when heading down Queens Road. We're lucky to have somewhere like this in such a central... More

Popped in just after opening time on a beautiful Saturday morning and the place was fairly busy eaven then. Got myself a seat at the bar, had a lovely fresh expresso and a brandy before ordering 2 of their tapas sized plates from the menu and boy did I order well. The marinated anchovies were to die for, big ,plump,... More

Came here with my auntie for a light lunch, was instantly attracted by the decor, very authentic and chilled atmosphere, our falafel wraps where delicious and came with a gorgeous tasting sauce and wedges on the side. I'm definitely going back to The Blue Man when i'm next in Brighton, can't recommend this place more!

The decor here is very kitch but not in a tacky way. The owner was doing her business work on one of the desks, which was nice to see management actually in the service area. The bar man was well present, patient and knowledgable. They do have a wide selection of different drinks but don't expect it to be average... More

Popped in for a coffee on a rainy day. Reasonably priced, strong flavour. Excellent ambience and decor. Would thoroughly recommend.
