Great place to relax

The decor here is very kitch but not in a tacky way. The owner was doing her business work on one of the desks, which was nice to see management actually in the service area. The bar man was well present, patient and knowledgable. They do have a wide selection of different drinks but don't... read more

Popped in for a coffee on a rainy day. Reasonably priced, strong flavour. Excellent ambience and decor. Would thoroughly recommend.

I come here for drinks after work and occasionally some lunch. The bar has a decent selection of drinks (including the 'surge' Guiness out of a can which I prefer) and the food and nibbles are tasty. The staff are a lively, polite and helpful bunch. The quirky downstairs area is what I love most and perfect for a group... More

Went to see a friend's children's show part of Brighton Fringe. Very surprised to find a unique and quirky gem with friendly staff and great food. Don't think there's anywhere else like it in Brighton. Will definitely return.

We went as part of a large group and even though we took up most of the top bar on a busy Saturday, the staff couldn't do enough to help us and we never felt rushed. We had several sharing plates which were all delicious. When we had finished some of the party were eying up some other items on... More

A very pleasant change from what we usually do around Brighton. Having not planned to eat out on a Saturday evening during the festival we were unable to get a table at any of our usual haunts but these guys weren't taking bookings and suggested we just rock up and take our chances. We did just that and got the... More

We found this wonderful little gem quite by accident just recently. Fantastic cosy atmosphere, great coffee, delicious tapas and right in the heart of Brighton. We can't believe we found it just as we are leaving Brighton (having lived here for years). Charming friendly staff with lots of interesting bands and a great friendly vibe about the place. And you... More
