gone here for drinks rather than the food. Though the decor was good, there was a lack of atmosphere due mainly I think to the lack of people. Limited draught beer was a let down
Lovely place intimate and cosy - always choose to meet friends here. My son thought it was amazing and was allowed to sing and play the guitar during a break in the music. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The bad reviewer must have gone to somewhere else !
I booked the downstairs for my private downstairs party.Aggressive staff -hideous atmosphere, covertly racist blatently misogynistic clientele .Not recommended unless you wish you & your friends to be insulted and belittled at your birthday party.

Took the family here on our last night in brighton had a nice meal and a good beer would have loved to stay longer however our 7 year old daughter was tired so we left early. nice place would love to go again
Never heard of this little gem before but glad I found it. Great little Cafe/Bar that served some really nice food. Staff were really helpful and the atmosphere was lovely! Definitely coming again to watch some music downstairs soon!

The food is pretty good in here and the staff friendly, i think its a great place if you go with a group of friends for drinks and nibbles rather then a meal out.

Having never tried this type of cuisine I was naturally skeptic but that was deemed unnecessary. Great food, amazing atmosphere and good service too. I'll have to go to see some of the live bands they have... More
