Brilliant little cafe for a cooked breakfast and cup of tea before tackling the shops or walking along the seafront!

Francesca & Christian have quite simply transformed this place into a wonderful eatery, with a fabulous menu crammed with so many 'favourites' that it is difficult to choose from. Whether you are seeking a quick refreshment / snack or three course meal, you simply MUST sample this menu! Their welcoming and friendly service of every customer who enters is effortless... More

Stranded on a Saturday night with most eatery places closed for the night, I stumbled upon this wonderful place. Just to add, I also only had credit card to pay which only made things more difficult! I think they were actually getting ready to close when I walked in to ask if they took credit card. Luckily they did and... More

We went here for lunch after staying nearby and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its clean, the staff are friendly, the sausage baguette is just right for breakfast and they even met my girlfriends slightly odd request for a hash brown with her sandwich and it was no problem at all. Great breakfast place.

Was visiting the Turner Exhibition at Brighton today and popped in here for lunch. Very glad we did: friendly staff, clean tables, and real food cooked by human beings in a real kitchen, and all at reasonable prices. Definitely go there again if I'm in Brighton. Herself had some splendid home made soup and baguette for starters, followed by bean... More

Popped in for lunch - lovely and friendly staff and no faults at all. Exactly what I wanted from a cafe, lovely homemade burger in a soft bun. Eggs properly cooked and good coffee all at a very decent price. What's not to like.

Called into this friendly little cafe for a cup of coffee and do the crossword while my partner had a business meeting round the corner. The coffee was good, but what gets the five stars is the fact that having left my pen in the cafe by mistake I telephoned them later in the day not expecting that they would... More

Forget Bills and other expensive chains, if your into Eggs Benedict then this is the place to come. No pretence just excellent friendly service. This reminded me of traditional seaside cafes in time-gone-by, but with a modern range high quality dishes at affordable prices. A perfect little cafe to watch the world go by!

Visited here on 31 October. Service is outstanding and really friendly, food was great - the best poached eggs in Brighton! Really reasonable on price and could not fault this lovely restaurant. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the Brighton Lanes for shopping. Some of the Lanes eateries are really expensive and not as good as here!

We stopped for a wonderful breakfast before shopping and then returning for a late afternoon treat of a glass of lovely wine, accompanied with fresh prawns, aioli and brown buttered bread, sitting in our favourite window seat, watching the world go by. Both Francesca and Christian (the proprietors) made us feel so very welcome. The service was prompt and super... More
