Afternoon pause

Lovely tea, cakes and ice-cream on a Bank Holiday Monday. Friendly device, nice cheery decor and great cakes. Unusual and interesting ice cream flavours to enjoy too!

Have always been a massive supporter of scoop and crumb. Has changed hands and been through a refit recently but just isn't as good. It used to be an ice cream parlour that sold other things as well.. The choice of sundaes was amazing New menu is less about ice cream (a lot less sundaes). The sundaes seem more commercial... More

We visited with a mix of ages and preferences including a baby, a vegetarian and two who don't like cake! They catered beautifully for all with delicious savouries as well as sweet stuff. I can personally vouch for that rarity, an excellent vegetarian sausage and the coffee tasted exactly as coffee smells :-)

Great decor, friendly service and plenty of selection aside from ice cream. I popped in the other day and tried three scoops - banana chocolate crunch, white mint choc chip and I think lemon & strawberry cheesecake. The latter didn't really taste cheesecake-y to me but was still nice, I enjoyed the other two.

We came here to grab some ice cream before walking along the beach front and back to the car before going to the Marina. The choice was great, I ended up having three scoops just because I couldn't decide between those, I had the rhubarb, key lime pie and cheesecake and my husband had the cheesecake but also had a... Arrived at a very busy time. So it took a while for a table to become free for our party of five and for us to make our order at the counter. As expected at a busy time it took a little while for our order to arrive. However the staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the ice... More

I always pop in once a week when I finish work for a little treat! The fudge sauce is too die for and I absolutely loved the Gin and Tonic ice cream/sorbet they did!

My husband and I visited for lunch. We had a pastrami and sauerkraut sandwich and a knickerbocker glory. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. Service was good. Probably a brilliant place for children's parties and there was an excited group of children when we there eating ice cream. I would recommend.
