Great location, atmosphere and service.

Stopped here as part of our Brighton Bike Tour. Staff were lovely as were the tea and cakes. Lovely atmosphere with a street performer in the distance and people enjoying the sunshine. Would definitely recommend.

It is a very nice location to sit and enjoy the Royal Pavillon but the prices are high and for what you get. The service was fast by the way.

I am sorry you felt our prices were high which I am sure you would understand I totally disagree with you. We also give very generous portions so not sure what you purchased at the cafe. The location as you say is good with a view second to none of the Royal Pavilion and gardens - An Oasis in the... More

Coffee is not as good as in Italy, but not as bad as in the rest of Europe. Location is stunning. The garden and the building is woderful trip to faraway places. The only pity is the tall building from 70s visible behind the pavillion.

Seagulls are flying rats! It is now hard to find a traditional British sandwich these days. Most have Italian bread and fancy names. However this charming family run cafe with outdoor seating sells delicious Rombolds Belgium filter cafe plus the inevitable Speculous biscuit. A rarity these days in the city plus old fashioned sandwiches. I settled down to eat mine... More

A beautiful, tranquil oasis in the centre of Brighton. A view of the gardens & the pavilion. It's a cafe - it sells coffee & cake. Simples.

A very pleasant cafe situated in the Pavilion gardens. The tea was good, my sandwich was hearty and the service friendly. The panoramic view of the Pavilion was breathtaking.

Not quite sure what the plastic privet elephant outside is about but the little cafe was a welcome find on a cold and windy day. Had a very good decaf coffee and a hot chocolate - £4.50 for the two, very good for Brighton prices. Had intended to have a slice of cake but they looked a little dry under... More

The cafe has a somewhat iconic status amongst Brightonians and there was a real backlash when the council suggested it would be closed when the Pavilion Gardens was redeveloped. I'm not sure what happened but it looks like the cafe will be staying. The food isn't going to set the world alight but on a sunny day in Brighton it's... More
