We stumbled on this pub on our last night in Brighton and we loved it. Lovely and quirky, great staff and very dog friendly. We will be back!

One of my favourite Brighton pubs, friendly (and good looking!) staff. Really nice drink selection, including really good beers. I haven't tried the food here yet but it always sounds lovely. Plays the best music - including some awesome Abba hits ha ha. Great atmosphere and seems to attract a friendly, hipster crowd.

A nice friendly pub. The staff was very good. There was live music upstairs, do not miss it. A group, Sorgenfri, was excellent. The food was good and prices reasonable.

We found this place on a weekend visit to Brighton and gave it a go for a drink on a Sunday night - it looked like a quirky casual friendly place (that's exactly what we like) and we weren't disappointed. It was almost empty apart from a bunch of staff (off the shift) who were playing jenga. We talked with... More

Rather grubby, very small place but also interesting as very alternative and good music playing. Couples dancing happily then the bar staff got into a domestic. Over priced food, windows with panes boarded but needs to be seen. Behind the Queens hotel and one of the stop off for the Ghost walk and they give you a Fishermans friend shot... More

I've been going to the Northern Lights for several years as I have a couple of friends who drink there, but having seen that it won a TripAdvisor "Certificate of Excellence 2013" on a recent visit I felt the need to put the record straight. This place is a shambles!!! And the frustrating thing is, that’s a shame - because... More

I wandered in here hoping to use my tastecard not realising you are supposed to ring ahead, they don't accept it on a Saturday anyhow, so not off to the best start decided to try a flavored vodka and was recommended the elderflower iced tea vodka drink. At £3.80 this was terrific value for what was a gorgeous drink and... More

The service was awful, it took well over an hour for our food to come. I asked when the food would be ready and it took a further 20 mins after being assured it was only a few minutes away. Once the food arrived we weren't served at the same time (there was a 5-10 minute difference between different members),... More
