Reading reviews I was inspired to try afternoon tea here during a visit to Brighton, I rang and booked a table but when I arrived there was no recognition of my booking. The service was very slow. Although it was not busy, the young lady was clearly out of her depth. They have a wonderful choice of tea. But the... More

Went here with my boyfriend and aunt and had some tea and scones, it was a nice experience. The armchairs are comfy and the scones were nice and warm with a decent portion of jam and clotted cream.

A charming Tea Room with real character, serving a wide selection of Tea, cake and sandwiches at excellent value. Everything was well present and the customer service was excellent. We will be returning when we come back to Brighton.

I booked Talk of Tea for afternoon tea with my mum and daughter. The selection of teas were amazing and the hot chocolate was delicious. It was great thatyou could pick your sandwiches and choice of homemade cake. The owner, Tom, was very hospitable and I will definitely be coming back again :)

I went there. I'm going back. Why? Because it was simply a hidden gem between Brighton and Hove. It's a struggle to find first time round but it is definitely worth it. Pricing? Is very reasonable. I've had a sandwich as I felt peckish but it did not disappoint. They even ask what bread you want. I had a fruit... More

Look up online for a good tearoom in Brighton and you'll be lead here (with luck). We went just before lunch on a Friday to this cozy little lounge like tearoom with a lovely garden tucked away from the high street. I opted for the cream tea and friends had the hot chocolate and a Christmas smelling tea and scones,... More

A wonderful afternoon treat!!! This cute tea room is on a quiet street and is small, but that adds to the character. They had so many different teas and food options and all reasonably priced. I took my sister here for her birthday and she loved it. Do not miss this if you love your tea and cake!

My daughter saw this hidden gem on your Tripadvisor site and we decided to give it a try. We were very delighted with what we found. We would never have discovered this hidden gem on our own as it is in a street just off of Western Road. The setting was comfy and indeed like being in someone's home and... More

My partner and I stumbled upon this gem of tranquility , whilst negotiating out way up this hill, we were really impressed with our wellcomg and friendly host Kati, who was happy to assist us in choosing a fine tea ,accompanied by homemade scone/ cream tea. We found the environment , warm and comfortable, with a varied range of reading... More
