On our way back to Brighton station, we nearly walked past Caffe Aldo because it just looked like a coffee shop. On entering we were greeted by friendly staff, but we weren't expecting any special. WRONG. The starter was excellent, followed by an equally superb main course. Both were flavoursome and well presented. Further tempted, we weren't dissappointed by a... More

We arrived late at venue but staff were so friendly, willing and happy to serve. The Caffe Aldo would probably benefit from a bit of a clean and spruce up but the food was absolutely fantastic. We ended up eating there three times during our stay, one being breakfast. The portion sizes are great, value for money 100% quality first... More

If you want an authentic pizza in Brighton forget the chains, just turn right in front of the station, head down Trafalgar Street and you'll find Caffe Aldo half way down on the left-hand side. This is a family-run place, no frills, no inflated prices, just superb home cooking. The pizzas are the best you'll eat; the pasta is fab,... More

Been here several times for all sorts of occassions - cozy Christmas eve lunch, meal with the parents, or just with my boyfriend for a Saturday lunch. Such a nice and intimate atmosphere, very nice food served by extremely friendly staff, and all for very affordable prices. I especially recommend the pasta.

Dined here a few times and it always serves up delicious freshly prepared food and served by friendly staff. The prices are really good as the portions are really generous. An added bonus is that it is BYO, which means they are not trying to rip you off with inflated wine prices. We will be back!

Had a fab meal here with friends. I just had a main course - a pasta dish with salmon- which was perfect. It seemed that everyone was impressed. It was all cooked up in vioew of the caffe guests and delivered with a smile. Really good value too. I'll be back!

Very friendly little place with fantastic Italian coffee and superb bruschetta. My friend had a full English breakfast which looked great, too. Such a shame the place was so quiet - it's a really nice spot for a light meal. Pretty good value too - the full English was a little over a fiver, and the very generous bruschetta was... More

We went here as a second or third choice on a Wednesday night, mainly to chat to friends over a meal. It worked well - because its a BYO I could buy some good ale from the amazing Trafalgar Wines down the road and the food was unpretentious and ok - Pizza without pineapple, steak cooked to customer's order. We... More
