I Had to go there after several recommendations. The place is very popular set in a very interestig location (an old garage) and for that i want to compliment the owner for the brave business vision. However food was alright, being italian myself i found the pizza a bit dry and not so flavoursome, other dishes a bit twisted to... More

I have been to pizza 500 a few times now and never been disappointed. It's cheap, laid paid and the pizzas are delicious. Don't be put off by the exterior. It's doesn't look like much but you'll find some of the best pizza in Brighton inside. It feels massively authentic and has a strong relaxed family atmosphere. I will definitely... More

The food is consistently good, authentic and value for money. However the service on this Friday night was dire. There was a large party of excitable teenage girls who had little adult supervision and who overwhelmed the kitchen and serving staff, one of whom was a novice and it showed. No tip as a consequence.

We used to love this place but just had a really disappointing meal. Not only were we refused some 'extras' on our pizza because apparently they didn't go with each other but we were also charged 50p for using their chilli oil. We have never ever experienced this before and when questioning the charge were told it was 'normal practice'...... More

So we had a nice meal in this busy little restaurant which serves authentic Italian food are a reasonable price. The service is a bit slow as they seemed to be more interested in chatting with their friends but it's laid back and friendly. What upset me was the fact the bill came to £39 with no service charge. So... More

This place is an absolute delight, harkening back to the days before pizza became corporate- charming, somewhat chaotic and extremely authentic Italian pizzas. Slightly overcrowded, smelling of delicious food, mildly incongruous music- this really feels like being in Italy… BTW their home made sausage is to die for!

Great ambience, good food and service with reasonable prices. Go early as it gets full quickly - especially at weekends

The staff of this place kindly let my girlfriend and I in prior to opening times to get a quick gelato to takeaway! The gelato was great, has pistachio and chocolate, both amazing. Also, managed to get a quick view inside; they have outside seating and a traditional looking pizza oven, will definitely return to see what food they offer.... More
