Excellent Lebanese food

We had a late lunch. It was excellent Lebanese vegetarian food. It is BYO, so my wife popped in to the nearest shop and bought some wine. This of course keep the cost down. Service was quick and good. Will definitely visit this restaurant again. Maybe not the most romantic place though.

After trawling through dozens of Brighton restaurants on the Internet we decided to give Kambis a try. Neither my wife nor I had tried Lebanese food before so we were looking forward to the new experience. The restaurant operates a bring-your-own alcohol policy, with no corkage charge, so we picked up some wine at a supermarket on the way. As... More

went yesterday with my family for dinner. Have been here twice before before but I think yesterdays meal was absolute perfect lebanese food. We had lamb shwarma, chicken shwarma, houmous, chicken liver, those funny little red sausages (soukous?) the flat breads stuffed with halloumi, and the pockets stuffed with feta cheese. oh and aubergine dip. I didnt have the aubergine... More

Best Lebanese restaurant in Brighton. Proper lamb or chicken shawarma and great atmosphere. Tasty salads and meze. Really enjoyed the shish tawouk and rice. Bring your own alcohol! Was sad when it was closed but great to see it back in Western Road. Good value for money and very clean

Another grest one on the strip. Authentic, friendly, fresh ingredients and a wide range of traditionally prepared dishes in exactly the right proportions. Exclusive in that it attracts mainly those that understand this cuisine, but casual walk ins seen equally delighted. They have a grest menu with plenty of variety, but equally not overwhelming. Most importantly it is absolutely delicious! Staff... More

This restaurant is great if you are in a large group and looking for a very informal dining experience. It has a good atmosphere and BYOB is a definite selling point. The food was OK, nothing special.

We have been coming to Kambis for a few years now, and every meal we have had is excellent quality. Freindly staff, and great customer service. Bring your own Wine or Beer, or chose a soft drink from their menu. The food is so tasty, we will definitely be back.

This place is always a winner. It was really busy on the Saturday afternoon that I last went in and the poor waitress was rushed off her feet which didn't reflect the place in the best light. But on the plus side the guy taking our order really took the time to chat and he remembered my friend from a... More
