For the smokers and poker players

Great service, and the food looks and smells wonderful. However when I decided to pay a visit it was Poker night, and they seemed to forget that other people were in the pub. Lighting fags in the pub to these guys was the norm. Then they all smoked outside the entrance of the pub, not great if you... read more

The owners need to stop the patrons from smoking in the door way, there is nothing so off putting when you are trying to eat and the smell of smoke is spoiling your meal.

Excellent place, very friendly and accomodating staff. Nice decor and a cool laid back atmosphere. Popular with locals and passers-by/tourists. Good selection of drink and grub and reasonably priced. The music varies between funk, soul, pop, hippity hippity hop, jazz and dance. Well worth popping in

I used to visit Foggs regularly and stopped going about a year ago, because the landlady was so unwelcoming. If you were her friends you were okay. The mens toilets always smelt of stale urine. The beer was overpriced £5.25 for a Kronenbourg what a rip off. Now the new owners are in and the atmosphere has really changed. The... More

Have been going to Foggs for a few pints for a couple of years now, but only just got round to having food there! Delicious Cajun Chicken burger - just the right level of spice and tastiness. The staff are really nice and friendly, and we always enjoy our evenings out.

Popped into Foggs with a few friends whilst passing through seven dials and ended up staying for the rest of the evening. We ordered a lot of cocktails! Great mojitos which the staff told us the had won a competition with, a few classics up there with some inventive new cocktails we had not heard of before, all very tasty.... More

Having had my fingers burned recently (metaphorically speaking) after visiting a pub local to me for lunch to be charged £10.50 for Burger & chips and find it to be MICROWAVEd , I thought I would venture up the road further and see whats on offer. The first pub was closed until 1pm (it was 12.30) their loss!! I carried... More

I haven't really tried Foggs as a pub - my taste runs towards somewhere a bit more Continental, and on that measure Foggs is terrific. The Sunday lunchtime roasts (not very Continental!) are excellent and the weekday snack food is exactly right. Tempting choc brownies. Foggs is pretty close to the station and I usually drop in on the way... More
