Pleasantly surprised by this find

We had walked past this numerous times without noticing it was there. Looking for a quick bite to eat before a gig we were drawn to the rustic interior. It seemed to be a popular place to eat. The surroundings and food were both simple and authentic. We had a set tapas menu for 2. The food was... read more

My husband & myself decided to try this tapas restaurant for lunch. Only 1 table of 2 was occupied so not busy but took ages for a menu to be given to us. We ordered 5 tapas dishes which were ok, nothing fabulous but acceptable. The waitress never came to check for more drinks or see if the food was... More

We stopped of in this restaurant for lunch on a recent trip to Brighton. The restaurant is small and intimate with a good atmosphere. The Tapas was good and we enjoyed the meal, the only downside being that it was very busy and as a result service was a bit slow.

This is regular treat for us on a sunny Saturday. The tapas are tasty and authentic. The staff in this tiny informal family run restaurant love their food and will be glad to make their recommendations from a large range of sherries spanish wines and beers. A little pricey for the level of comfort but it's a unique place a... More

I usually come for dinner, but today had a quick lunch and it was great! The dates wrapped in bacon, and the salmorejo are exquisite. We also had two other dishes and two glasses of nice red - total was £25 which is a bargain. I think this is the best tapas place in Brighton and I know others do... More

I don't live in Brighton but visit regularly and always make an effort to visit this restaurant. They tend to cram customers in, but I think that it gives a more authentic atmosphere. The staff are always so friendly and the food is to die for.

Happened to come across this place on the Wednesday - it was full and vibrant, genuinely Spanish. We spent about £33 and were both full. My favourite was the breaded lamb chops. Fun dish was the chorizo they set alight. Lovely service on the Wednesday. Came back again on friday night, service a little brusque as we hadn't booked but... More

My friend and I visited this restaurant on a Monday evening, and were both surprised how busy it was. It is a tiny, rustic restaurant in the Lanes in Brighton. Very authentic & great atmosphere. We had several of the tapas dishes, all of which were cooked to perfection. I would definiately recommend pre booking if you wanted to go... More
