A fantastic dining experience

My friend and I visited this restaurant on a Monday evening, and were both surprised how busy it was. It is a tiny, rustic restaurant in the Lanes in Brighton. Very authentic & great atmosphere. We had several of the tapas dishes, all of which were cooked to perfection. I would definiately... read more

Happened to come across this place on the Wednesday - it was full and vibrant, genuinely Spanish. We spent about £33 and were both full. My favourite was the breaded lamb chops. Fun dish was the chorizo they set alight. Lovely service on the Wednesday. Came back again on friday night, service a little brusque as we hadn't booked but... More

Lovely food. Great service. Food arrived quickly and was really good. They also allowed me to bring my dog in. Would recommend and go again for sure

Lovely little restaurant with amazing staff and an immediate Spanish feel when you walk through the door. The place is busy and bustling and the tables are small and overflowing with delicious Spanish tapas dishes! It is a must for people who enjoy Spanish food. The staff are very helpful and attentive and the menu is amazing. I have been... More

Booked Solera D. for a group of 8 on Saturday March 14th for a short weekend break in Brighton with friends.Authentic tapas and a great wine selection to match. Very friendly staff. The restaurant is small and we missed it initially as we walked down Sydney Street but it was definitely a great find. All plates were empty when cleared... More

I stay in Brighton at least once a year for about a week. I can't go the week without visiting this place. It's got a great selection of tapas, some lovely red wines and it doesn't break the bank. The service is friendly. Really love it - a characterful and quirky little place which hasn't an ounce of pretension to... More

Happy buzzy restaurant, wooden benches so not awfully comfortable, however staff are good, menu is interesting, -(never pigs cheeks available though!) Good wine, friendly and vibrant atmosphere. warm, situated in the busy north laines area, lots of drop ins, but can book. great value for money, never rushed Small semi outdoor area - steep stairs to the loo

Authentic tapas, actually liked the food better than Casa don Carlos! Nice wine selection, nice staff, nice relaxed atmosphere, good prices, what more do you want from a Tapas restaurant?!

Staying in Brighton for a short break and were recommended Solera by locals. Lovely, cosy atmosphere and authentic feel. We ordered the basic tapas selection for four comprising of eight dishes which incuded many of our favourites such as chorizo, tortilla, patatas bravas, calamares. Food was delicious, including the homemade chocolate mousse for pud! Only downside.......the tables are very small... More

This has always been my favourite Spanish restaurant in Brighton. It's never perfect but the food has always spoken for itself. Unfortunately and disappointingly it seems they are now going for smaller portions with higher prices, we paid £4.55 for a paltry 12 padron peppers. It never used to be so measly. I really love this restaurant and have had... More
