Description: Bagelman started in 1996 when Julian, our founder, started a one-man bagel...
Bagelman started in 1996 when Julian, our founder, started a one-man bagel delivery service to help fund his way through a degree at Brighton University. In response to popular demand, the first Bagelman store opened in 1999 at 7 Bond Street and since then we have gone from strength to strength; we now have a bakery serving three stores with a fourth opening soon.

Inspired by the lively Jewish delicatessens of New York and London’s East End, we combine the sensory richness and liveliness of the full delicatessen experience with the irresistible lure of a real bagel bakery.

Arrived in the pouring rain whilst xmas shopping. There were no gluten free bagels so the staff went off and bought some for our daughter. They couldn't have been more accommodating and the bagels we ordered both gf and non gf were great. Also a real pot of tea. Would definitely recommend

We stopped here for lunch- can highly recommend this shop if you need a substantial lunch or brunch. I had the ATM ( advocado, tomato and mozzarella) with jalapeño bagel- served warm- very delicious!

I can't get enough of Bagelman bagels - they are lush and I quite often have one as a lunchtime treat. My personal favourite is a Tower on a sesame bagel, but I'm yet to find one at all that I don't like and I'm pretty sure I've been through them all. Always prepared fresh to order and they often... During our 3 night stay in Brighton we had breakfast here twice. Convieniently situated around the corner from our hotel, this is basically a sandwich shop with a few chairs to eat in. The bagels come with a variety of toppings and there is a breakfast special of coffee and a bacon bagel for under £4 which my husband enjoyed.... More

My first visit was around 8 weeks ago, for a couple of breakfast bagels with my partner and we absolutely fell in love with the place. I'm a student living in Brighton but we're both from Kent and we agreed that Bagelman is so wonderful and unique and we wished we had something like it back home! I've since taken... More

Not only do they serve gluten free, they ask "are you a Coeliac?.... We'll use a separate board and totally separate ingredients". Amazing. Staff were friendly and offered helpful advice on where other gluten free food products could be purchased. Big thumbs up 👍🏻

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful bagel on Bond Street and had fun people watching during our little break. This Bagelman is situated in a vibrant little area in Brighton. Great place to stop and regain some energy when walking all over the city.

Popped into Bagelman for a mid shopping coffee & snack! Fantastic range of fresh Bagels & fillings. Reasonably priced & much better than a pre packed sandwich from a chain coffee shop! Friendly helpful staff as well. Will definitely be returning....soon!
