Great for drinks and a dance

I haven't eaten here, but its a great place to grab a cocktail. They play a lot of Swing music here, which is good as locals get involved and start Jiving

Been for a drink here a number of times, really beautiful deco and a great young fun and alternative vibe going on. Used to do really yummy sweet potato wedges here, not sure if they still do but worth a try if they do.

I know from my daughter that this place has a real vibe at night. We went here for lunch, the place was cold (we had to keep coats on) and it took ages for our food and coffees to arrive although it wasn't vary busy. The food itself was good but the whole experience marred but the temperature.

me and my boyfriend like to try a different roast each sunday and we often drink here in the week as its one of the few places that gets full and has a great atmosphere on weeknight evenings, we had never eaten here though and decided to give it a try and this was our favourite roast dinner in Brighton... It was early on a Saturday night and we came in for a few pre-dinner drinks. The cocktail service was really slow, with only one person making them, but the cocktails were good. It's just a shame we had to wait 20-30 minutes for 3-4 cocktails to be made, every time we wanted one. This is my second visit and... More

I was in Brighton for the weekend with my daughter. After eating we were looking for somewhere to go for a few drinks. We happened to be walking past The Mesmerist, it sounded good, so we decided to call in for a couple of drinks. Once inside we immediately felt the great atmosphere. It was easy to get to the... Stopped Friday afternoon for a naughty early cocktail and a pint. Really good service and staff were friendly. The pub is great - I sat at an opticians station (they have some odd seats which are fun). Good beer and great cocktail. Came back the next day for more. Didnt eat here as we had tables booked. Some really interesting... More

My parents don't come to Brighton very often, so when they come to visit I like for us to have dinner or lunch somewhere nice. We had no concrete plans so when we walked past Mesmerist and glanced at the menu we quickly decided it would be a good venture and we wanted to get out of the cold. The... More

Popped in here for a drink after a meal out and chose their cocktail. Bit pricey at £7.50 for what it was but the atmosphere was brilliant and more than made up for it. Great music being played and the place was packed

Came here for a pre dinner drink, great little place to come for a drink. The ginger beer cocktail comes with a ginger biscuit - make sure you get to it before it get soggy and ends up washed up in your drink!!! They have a small selection of cocktails which are ok, the decor is nice though, just a... More
