Nice atmosphere

Went there twice and like both. Nice atmosphere, music and cold beer. They also have a photobooth machine witch made our night very funny. The price isn't that good but it's a nice pub.

This isn't a pub its a house of entertainment for all. O/K its says its a pub but the music and the dancing is in a class of its own.

Only that we were hungover and couldn't manage to walk very far or argue about eating somewhere is how we ended up here! All I'll say is don't eat here, the tables are unclean and sticky, the food will make your arteries shudder and the staff all looked as hungover as us customers were! I'm sure it's an amazing bar... My Hen's and I ended up at The Mesmerist after a chilled cocktail session, we were looking for a lively place to dance and we certainly found it here. The music was great with a real mix from different eras, lots of people were dressed in 40's/50's attire (My group was in 1920's!) and everyone on the dance floor was... More

Well, I've seen all the poor reviews on here but got to say it feels like were reviewing a different place. We went in on a Friday Lunchtime. We weren't sure they we serving food as we couldn't see anyone eating and there were only a handful of people in. The barman assured us they were so we ordered some... More

Good choice of drinks, great atmosphere and surroundings, helpful staff. Always a nice little buzz about the places with different areas to sit depending on the size of your group which I like. Good place for a drink or two anytime of the day!

I wish I had read the reviews before heading into the Mesmerist for a bite to eat, Ordered two burgers, awful, the food was cold, cheese frozen on the burger, what a disappointment, The quality of the food seemed fine but its down to the chef, I guess he/she was in a rush to close the kitchen. What a shame,... More

After completing the London to Brighton cycle ride we went out for a meal and drink luckily we only had a drink here the beer was off, the didn't care the so called manager didn't care. We found a quite side room to sit in away from the band that was... More

We popped in for a quiet pint and whilst the beer was good and the barman serving us was polite and friendly, the management and floor staff were despicable. Avoid this bar. Racist and ignorant staff kicked people out with no cause beyond their whim, refused to acknowledge that we were paying customers looking for a relaxed, quiet drink and... More
