Good Food and Beer

Small place but with a very good atmosphere. Staff very friendly and a good selection of music playing. Went to a friends party here recently It is ok but not right up there when it comes to small Brighton bars Friendly staff and well located. A bit scruffy. Others in the group thought the drinks were expensive It sits it the niche of being neither a normal pub or full on late nightclub. That is a competitive niche... More

We've been to this place a couple of times now and never been disappointed. The burgers are very tasty, my husband has the classic beefburger and I had the vegi option of hallumi. Sooooo good. The steak chips are thrice fried and really good too. All the mains are around £10 so good value for money and to top it... More

Spent New Year's Eve here again. Great place, friendly staff and locals. They serve the best expresso martini I've ever had! 🍸 well worth a visit.

My title says it all! The thrice cooked chips were superb and the. Burger was massive! To top It all off the 2 cocktails for £10 before 8pm was a bonus! Dinner at bottle of wine and 2 cocktails £60 - great value for money.

I have been here a couple of times and left very happy on both occasions. My husband and I went there at the weekend - yummy cocktails - two large for £10! - and lovely cosy atmosphere. A great little hidden gem of Brighton!

We had lunch to start with, which is just as well, as we particpated in the cocktail making experience with Bridget - she was excellent and very knowledgeably - looking forward to her Goat cocktail!! It was a fun afternoon, very enjoyable and we would... More

We have been many times, and have always been greeted with smiles from the staff. If there is a problem, (rare) tell them and it is immediately dealt with. Food always freshly prepared from ( if possible) local produce and served with a smile. Short wine list and good cocktails, especially their huge Bloody Mary. They also have a room... More
