A great little bar in Kemp Town that you could easily miss. Tucked away down a side street, Brighton Rocks is an excellent little wine/cocktail bar basically serving up any cocktail you ask for. The staff are friendly, service is excellent and it's definitely worth trying out. Seating outside is limited but that's just the way it is. It's actually... More

this was my 5th visit to brighton rocks over 4 years and on each occasion the menu and availability of cocktails seems to be ever decreasing. on the previous visit a few months ago the fridges weren't working so any beers ciders etc had to be served over ice, and i noted the once expansive cocktail list had shrunk and... Asked for something long and cool and got an amazing cocktail - gets busy though if you want to sit outside.

A very warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door to see the World Cup Final. Sraff were friendly and attentive without being over the top. They spent as much time on concocting a delicious non-alcoholic drink for me as they did on the equally adventurous looking cocktail menu. Lovely vibe in there. Apparently the beer was very... More

We happened on this fab bar & had a couple of drinks. Good selection of gin so I was happy. Served with cucumber too...yummy! A few tables outside if you are a smoker, but not much of a view. However a quirky little place that also serves lovely cocktails.

Had a lovely dinner here last week, fantastic vegetarian options and menu in general kept nice and simple. Thought it was a really good touch to have a vegetarian alternative for almost everything - eg burger, sausage and mash, roast...

Popped in to this bar yesterday with my dog and received a really friendly welcome from the two ladies on duty. Ordered a ploughman's as it was a lovely warm day. After about 15 minutes it came out and the presentation was pretentious. Tiny little wedges of mild (warm) chedder and a crumble of blue cheese. One slice of wafer... More

On Sunday afternoon my Partner and I made a spontaneous drop-in at Brighton Rocks. We have lived in Brighton for 8 years and the food has traditionally always been hit and miss here. Customer service used to be dreadful too and so it was with more than a little reluctance that we popped in but it was such a sunny... More
