If you want to take a nice drink try the cosmopolitan!!! Really good and also not too expensive. The place and location are not so wonderful, but if you want a quick and nice drink, I would suggest it

Attended a Cocktail class for a friends Hen Party. I have completed classes in the past at other venues so wasn't really looking forward to another class. This class was FANTASTIC. Bridget & Mike led the session and they were both amazing, very passionate and made the experience so enjoyable. Everyone got involved and the cocktails were gorgeous. We followed... More

Since we were staying in a hotel near James street, we decided to try out Brighton Rocks. Glad we did. It has a lively atmosphere; the service is good, staff is friendly, music they play rocks and it's great for food and drinks as well.

My husband and I signed up for a cocktail making class at Brighton Rocks. Bridget our teacher was really welcoming and great fun to spend time with. She certainly knew her cocktails. Included was a glass of bubbly (i had their delicious Cherry Blossom ale - yum), two cocktails of our choice followed by two shots. It was certainly a... More

Sophisticated and delicious cocktails in a fresh and relaxed environment by bar tenders who know their stuff, are passionate about Brighton Rocks and are exceedingly focused on customer service. I booked a cocktail making class and lunch after reading reviews and speaking to the staff and it was the highlight of our Brighton weekend. We felt like VIPs from the... More

We visited on a Thursday night for dinner. The location was tricky to find however well worth the visit. Very bohemian with a great vibe, cool music, fantastic staff and a limited menu and wine list, which is no bad thing. The sharing platers we had of fish and cheese were fine, and the new owner has a number of... More

Great cocktails and a very friendly bar tucked away in the side street in Kemptown. Brilliant evening there.

Just a few steps off St James Street, we found this inviting place. We ordered beers, a very moreish Espresso Martini and shared a meat platter. The charcuterie was high quality including the best slices of roast beef we have had for ages. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. A gem.

We had booked a table here for a low key hen party, and had a fantastic time, a really fun, happy atmosphere, great music, and the staff were lovely. The food was amazing and plenty of it. Highly recommend the Chocolate Chilli cocktails, delicious. I would highly recommend giving this little gem a try.
