Great food and cocktails to die for, very small tables...

Great food, really different and interesting, expensive for pub grub but good value. Desserts were exquisite and really unusual. We also had a coconut margarita which was divine. And a Tequila and chocolate cocktail was possibly the best sweet style cocktail that I have ever had! Good and varied... read more

Food ok...expected better. Hot and uncomfortable inside, no a/c at all Tables very close together, all a bit squashed for my liking

Food not only looks great but tastes fabulous. Attentive friendly waitress without being too much. Cocktail for pudding was the best ever- I want to return for an evening of cocktails. Top end of my price range but great as a treat.

Food not just looks amazing, but tastes amazing! Beautiful duck breast cooked just right. Friendly waitress who was spot on with being attentive but at the same time not being too much. Cocktail was a dream in a glass for pudding. could spend an evening just drinking the cocktail! A more expensive meal for me, but worth every penny for... More

Made a late booking for Sunday lunch and it was the best we'd had for ages - well cooked, presented and served.

This is a great, quiet, small pub/restaurant about a 15 minute walk from the carousel on the beach. The service was very good, the food excellent, and it's a wonderful place to have an intimate dinner with friends or family.

Went here last night for a friend's birthday - absolutely great evening. Food delicious, great choice of reasonably priced wines. We all had a lovely time made even better by our lovely waitress.

It's unfortunate that Trip Advisor only have choices of "Average" or "Very Good" as the Ginger Dog overall deserves a "Good". The service made it very good, the food nice but average for its type. The strip lighting behind the bar area is a bit bright if you're facing it so that's not so great for a romantic meal but... More

A party of five on a birthday weekend we could not have found a better place to celebrate. Very good sensible priced wine list plus a good selection of cocktails. Menu had plenty of choice and all the food coming out looked amazing. 2 in our party started with the pigeon so perfect they were still raving about it three... More

I booked this for a family dinner as it was recommended as a dog friendly restaurant. The service was ok but not overly friendly but the food was very disappointing - average yet really overpriced. My husband had the special of the day which was cod - literally two small mouthfulls - for £18. We won't bother going back.
