This restaurant always excels itself. Once again we had first class food with excellent attentive service. I had the mussels - my favourite dish and my boyfriend had the beef bourguignon. The beef was so tender it just fell apart . The service was good and timely - there was no long waits in between courses. I think that cafe... More

Usual fayre from this well known chain, so food is fine, but regrettably slow-as-usual service, with having to ask 3 times for an orange juice and a 40 minutes wait for a fougasse...wont go back despite vouchers available on Tesco...etc

We went for an anniversary and really enjoyed our evening. The food is nice and obviously of a higher quality than some of the other chain restaurants. It is a bit more expensive but you're paying for a classier evening in some respects. The fries were quite salty and they had run out of sirloin steak but that aside can't... More

Lack lustre service, high prices & average pastries. If you want a marina view & are willing to pay over the top then this is the place to go.

After a long sail from Gosport I was ready to be looked after, and wasn't disappointed. Our pretty waitress from Italy saw to our every need. Appetisers if breads, humous, olives etc was on the table within 5 minutes of ordering, and the main meal also brought promptly. Couldn't wish for better, happier, more welcoming service. Highly recommended.

I started with pate and had the chicken in white wine and leeks on a bed of mashed potatoes. Very very filling, couldn't finish it all. The restaurant wasn't full but the view of the marina was amazing. The service was good and would come again.

Usually a fan of the Cafe Rouge chain, the Brighton Marina location was a disappointment. On a rainy Tuesday, the restaurant was almost empty, yet the service was dire and the food arrived less than piping hot. The appetisers were very good, but the entrees were a disappointment. No drinks orders were re-taken once we'd drained our glasses. Poor show... More
