Had an amazing meal on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was full and it is advisable to book. My daughter and I both enjoyed pidgeon for starters and Sea Bream for our main course. Fantastically presented.....not a massive amount but beautifully cooked and the price was excellent... The staff were amazing and were so helpful and attentive. Attractive decor and... More

Went to 24 St Georges on Saturday night (12th) for an early supper. So glad we decided to try this place out. The service is really friendly without being intrusive or OTT. The food is to die for! Every course is presented like a work of art and the quality of the food is superb, especially for the price, it's... More

We booked 24 St Georges due to the good reviews on Tripadvisor. The restaurant also came highly recommended by our cab driver! (taking us to dinner) Welcoming, warm, homely atmosphere with beautiful food. The Brie Risotto comes highly recommended. The only thing that we'd change would be the wine. We enjoy a full bodied Malbec and the one on the... More

My husband took me here for my birthday and we had their new tasting menu. It was amazing if rather a lot of food! The fish dish (which i think was bream) and the mojito sorbet were memorably fabulous! At the end the truffles and happy birthday plate were a lovely touch. The service was brilliant, just the right amount... More

I ate there last night with my girlfriend. The food was superb and reasonably priced considering the quality (£22 for the 3 course set menu). The atmosphere was sophisticated but unpretentious and the service was fantastic. Brilliant evening, fab meal - fully deserves the 5 stars.

My son chose this restaurant for us when a friend and I visited him at university. What a fantastic choice. I had imagined a more lavish setting, and our table was set for 4 people despite being booked for 3 - but this did not deter from what i can only describe as some of the best food i have... More

The food here is varied, tasty and imaginative and the staff are friendly and helpful. But I would avoid Saturday night if you can; when we were there they were stressed and making mistakes - bringing the wrong cocktail, totally forgetting the sorbet course, long waits between courses and the birthday dessert plate decorated for the wrong person (which would... I had been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, having heard many good things from other locals. It more than lived up to expectations, providing excellent food and attentive service without any pretension. After the delicious scotch-egg 'amuse-bouche', we shared the excellent scallops for starters, then had the Fillet of Beef and Pork main courses Dessert was fab,... More
