We dined from the set menu for three courses, which I can honestly say is the best quality and value I have ever had for the price (£21.95), service was friendly and unfussy. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Brighton. See you again......

We were a party of six on a busy Saturday night and were put in the room at the back. I had read a review that said that the reviewer felt excluded being out of the main room. The wait staff made sure we missed out on nothing with regular discreet visits and we ended up feeling that we were... More

My wife and I dined at 24 St Georges whilst in Brighton last week. We were so impressed that, as I paid the bill, I asked if we could re-book for the Friday, two days later. On both occasions the food was stunning. Delicious and presented beautifully. The attention to detail and accompaniments were perfect, the aperitifs, the quail scotch... More

Friends booked this restaurant for us as they had read good reviews. Although the food and service were fine I found the whole experience bit pretentious. The style was a bit 'nouvelle cuisine' which I thought was old hat these days. It was tasty enough but very minimal. Even the Irish coffees were small. The bill came to £50 a... More

We ate a la carte on a Saturday evening. We booked because it was close to our B&B and it was rated #1 here. Usually that means it will be full of tourists, but in Brighton it was popular with locals too. We were made very welcome, very friendly and helpful staff. Our waiter knew all about the food, down... I went here to celebrate my best friend's engagement and it was fantastic. The food was delicious (Heritage Tomato/Scottish Scallops/Pea and Mint Risotto) we also had the Scotch Egg and Bread as well as Olives and the Mojito sorbet in between courses alongside a bottle of excellent quality Champagne. The staff were absolutely lovely through from booking until we left;... More

When I see a negative review amongst numerous raving reviews, I usually brush it off as an anomaly; somebody who chose poorly for their expectations, somebody who wouldn't be pleased with anything, or somebody who's just plain nuts. We were in Brighton for the day on a Friday and wanted to finish the day with a memorable meal. We searched... More

This is a bit upscale from most of the other restaurants we saw in Brighton, and they were deffinately able to deliver. We opted for a 3 course menu of the day and we were delighted with all three courses + the wine we were reccomended. By staying with the menu of the day the prices here were actually on... More
