This was my first visit and I will certainly return. Everthing we ordered was very good, home made and fresh. The restaurant is intimate and softly lit. The staff were welcoming and charming. The menu is quite short, and doesn't contain any surprises, but all the dishes we ordered were very good. My companion chose the green duck with duck,... More

My wife and I were recommended this intimate 8 table restaurant. We looked at its location which is in a less than desirable area but persevered! We are so glad we did. It was a cosy friendly little place with a great atmosphere. The service was friendly and swift. The food was simply outstanding. We both hadn't tasted Thai food... More

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and really we'll priced. 10 out of 10! We are down here for the weekend and we went here because we couldn't get a table elsewhere...so pleased we did. It's the best Thai I've had for a long time. Forget the others!

My wife and I love Tookta's Cafe. We have now eaten here three times, and the food on each occasion has been delicious. The restaurant is small and cosy and quite quirky in its decor. Every time we have been there, the owner, Tookta, has come out to chat to her guests. Well worth a visit if you love Thai... More

This is a real gem of a restaurant set in the back streets of Brighton. Beautiful, authentic Thai food cooked with love: the best I've eaten outside of Thailand. It is small though so book to avoid disappointment.

It's a bit of a walk to get to, but it's so worth it. We were welcomed by the waiter who immediately gave us a big jug of water. The menu offers a few starters, just some different types of currys and some stir fries. We ordered the fish cakes, which were tasty but nothing special, though the sauce was... More

My husband and I adore Tookta's. We live in Eastbourne but will happily drive here for Thai because it is the best in the city. This is the most authentic Thai food we have eaten outside of Thailand, simply delicious. The ambience is cosy and intimate and the service is fantastic - Tookta will come out and chat to you... Tasty food, average thai food price would of been better if it was a byo. I had a green curry for a main and unfortunately I forgot the starters ad it was a while ago but remember it was all very good
