Tasty food, average thai food price would of been better if it was a byo. I had a green curry for a main and unfortunately I forgot the starters ad it was a while ago but remember it was all very good

We were entertaining friends from out of the country and this restaurant was recommended to us. The food was excellent and the service was really quite charming. With (I think) about 8 tables this is always going to be an intimate dining experience. Certainly one to recommend.

There's little point in repeating the excellent detail of the many 5 star reviews of the excellent Tookta's Cafe. Suffice it to say, we had the same experience and unreservedly endorse those comments.

This is a tiny restaurant, there can't be more than 8 tables, two ladies do the cooking in the back, with a waiter. The ladies were very friendly and nice, the presentation of the food was very nice, the food was good and as described, there was plenty. We had the vegetable spring rolls as appetizers, there were 5 of... More

Another classic Brighton restaurant that isn't a franchise that has been squeezed like the proverbial lemon. A petite venue that offers intimacy, individuality and personality. The menu is concise, for a great value and sounded/tasted delicious. The Panang Curry was sensational and was the best choice on the table ;) I've lived in Brighton for 25 years and have never... We gave Tookta's Cafe a go based upon Trip Advisor feedback and we were not disappointed. Small place with a personal touch. Attentive staff and very clean. Food was freshly prepared and very flavoursome. A small menu but easy to find things we wanted and really enjoyed. Certainly worth a visit. Suggest you book as some people had to be... More

Tookta's Cafe is the proof that you don't need a highly sophisticated menu, plush surroundings or expensive fare for people to feel as though they have had a good meal. The food in Tookta's is traditional Thai cooking at its best - savoury, spicey and delicious. Stepping into the restaurant is like walking into someone's lounge - it is small,... More

This is such a lovely intimate thai restaurant just off Western Road so away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular North Laines. The staff and owners are really friendly and welcoming and the food is incredible - very authentic and always cooked fresh on the day. Definitely worth a visit although Fridays and Saturdays can get very... More
