This is my favourite fish restaurant in Brighton! We walk to the marina from hove most Sundays and usually end up here. Don't think I've ever been disappointed with a meal here. The set menu is so reasonable at lunch times and especially love the chicken liver pate and the grilled caught line cod on chive sauce and mash! And... More

My young Son and I ate here on Saturday the 9th of August. Food was pretty good but the service was fantastic with the Servers looking around at all times so easy to get their attention. Good eating experience for us, keep up the hard work.

Stopped by here on our last night in Brighton, it was happy hour, fish & chips for £4.95. The fish was line caught cod and was cooked to perfection, lovely chips, tartar sauce and minty pea puree or mushy peas to us! Would highly recommend.

We stopped for an early supper, and were able to take advantage of their early evening menu. Neither of us wanted anything too rich, and so we chose the spaghetti Napoli, followed by the Cassata; both were very nice - as was the view of the starlings coming to roost. A very pleasant meal.

The initial service was good but no follow up. The food was quite good. My wife had line caught cod and Mash which she really enjoyed. We shared olives which were nice and I had mussels which were a veterans. I wanted a sweet and coffee and another glass of wine but no one came. Several people were complaining about... More

Called in here for set lunch menu which was ok. Sardine starter was good. Fish soup ok. Tuna main not very good- tuna was anaemic and potatoes hard. Barnsley chop good but sparse accompaniment. Service was good but not happy with automatic service charge- would prefer to decide myself

Terrible!!! 5 starters, 5 main meals, 2 out of the 5 starters shockingly bad. 3 out of the main meals either wrong meals, under/over cooked. Refused to pay for 2 of the main meals!! Still the bill was over £120 and not worth a fiver... Avoid avoid avoid

Evening meal in the sun. Mussels were outstanding as was the ribeye. Really good professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Top marks all round. Pity we live so far away!
