My LAST visit

The Décor is good and warm, unfortunately the welcome isn't. Our waiter demonstrated no personality and worse still, no knowledge of the Wine and Food he was serving. The Crab in my entrée was fine but the lettuce was still quite waterlogged. My Main of Fillet Steak was not cooked as well as I... read more

A great occasion spoilt by the location. Service poor (we had a get up and grab the waiters sleeve to obtain service), under-whelming food (tuna was ok, fish & chips was mediocre, deserts were awful) ... and was the wine a bit watered down?

The restaurant looks nice from the outside and inside seems modern an inviting. The menu is vast but expensive. Two people in our party used the toilets after we ordered drinks. A male and a female...We both agreed that the standard of cleanliness was non- existent. The toilet bowls in the Ladies were caked with brown stains and the drains... More

I used this restaurant last year and the fish was superb! My, how things have changed! We were a party of 3 for lunch with wine. In summary, my fish was greasy and tasteless, so obviously not fresh! The chips were lukewarm, very greasy and had been re-heated! The amount of mushy peas wouldn't have fed a midget! All in... More

The Fish Brasserie is at Brighton Marina overlooking the sea. It is light and airy and offers something different to the chain restaurants that are around it. Most dishes are about the same price you would pay in Prezzo, Ask etc. We had the crab starter which was very good and Spaghetti with prawns which was excellent. There is a... More

Popped in for lunch on May bank holiday. Quick service, good food food at reasonable price and not too crowded. Decent portions. Yes, worth a try.

Hello Judy here again, we went to Brighton for the day on a whim as the weather was so beautiful and Brighton is the place to be on a bright sunny day, we took the train from East Croydon at around 11am and arrived in Brighton 35mins later 'how fast was that' we walked down from the station to the... Set on the boardwalk amidst all the other "chain" restaurants this one offers something a bit different - whilst you can opt for the basic fish & chips there are several more adventurous fish dishes and all come with a generous helping of new potatoes and if fish not your thing there are a number of alternatives including a very... Had the two course menu. The fish soup was delicious and my line cod main meal was superb. The garlicky green beans accompaniment was excellent. The whole experience of the meal was great. Nice wine and good service. However, being at Brighton Marina, I don't understand why they don't source the fish locally from the day's catch.... or put local... More

Ate here recently on a Friday night. We were not very adventurous, in that we had fish and chips!, although we were not disappointed. The fish was cooked well in light and crispy batter with a good portion of well cooked chips, and mushy peas. Service was polite and attentive. We will look at going back to sample more of... More
