Best Indian food I have ever had always get the lamb biriany. Staff are very friendly and they always give you a complimentary drink at the end of your meal.

Went here on a Saturday night. Nothing was wrong with the meal, but it wasnt the best indian meal I've ever had. The restuarant was full, so service was a bit slow, but the staff we're friendly enough. The lamb shank although was cooked nicely was in a grey watery sauce. It could have done with a bit of colour,... More

Stopped here as it was very late and close to our hotel. It was quiet with only three tables occupied. Our food was mixed but the Lamb Dansak was very tasty. The Korma eaten by my partner was far more bland - with limited meat content. Basically a big bowl of sauce. The rice portion was rather small - the... More

I've had many curries in Tooting, South London where I live. I thought Pavel easily equalled the service and quality - the food was gorgeous! Mind you, I've got used to asking for "extra spicy" in Indian restaurants these days so maybe that helped. I would definitely recommened and WILL be returning myself. Thanks Pavel!

Oh dear, I should have read the reviews before we ate dinner here on Friday. The restaurant was very busy & looked really lively, which is what attracted us.. We had popadums to share which were fine & nice cold Cobra beer. We had a bit of a wait before anyone took our order, but as they were busy &... More

We ordered a takeaway that took an hour and a half to be delivered. Everything was so bland, no spice, no flavour! My peshwari nan tasted like cardboard!

Further to Martin M's review yesterday, I'm his wife. He thought he'd rated this restaurant as 1 out of 5 i.e. TERRIBLE. Not 5 out of 5. This is a review purely to show the correct rating as Trip Advisor doesn't allow the same person to review the same restaurant more than once a month.

Booked a table for four for a lunchtime meal, which was our wedding breakfast. I had previously eaten here many times and it's my favourite Indian in the area. I booked months in advance with the owner in person and 'phoned nearer the time to check all was ok. Spoke to a guy who said they sometimes closed lunchtimes but... More

Sat down and after 10 mins asked for a beer, was asked, just 1? Received 1 poppadom and pickles tray. 10 minutes later asked for my beer and eventually got what I originally asked for. Then had to sit for 30 tedious minutes when there were only about 10 other people in the restaurant before they even took my order.... More
