Description: Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence...
Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.

Delicious Thai food.

We popped in for lunch at Sabai Thai Restaurant. Chicken Satay is one of my favourites and this was probably the best I have tasted. It goes well with Singha beer! The staff were friendly and helpful.

a must stop place for any vegan/vegetarian. With so many options available for those with dietary requirements you would really be missing out. Order a starter OR and main you do not need both, the chef is very generous when it comes to portions. Staff are very attentive and the atmosphere and decor make this place magical.

The food was just brilliant, best Thai I've had in a long time. The only thing that keeps me from giving all the 5 stars is the service. No enthusiasm, not a happy, energetic look on the faces, and all the waitresses stand and laugh loudly together next to all the clients. The service was bad, but the food absolutely... More

Hello Sorry for the delay in responding as I have been away. Thank you for the compliments on our food. I will pass these on to our chefs. I would like to apologise for the bad service you experienced from our front of house staff. I can assure you this is an isolated incident and does not normally happen. Recent... More

A big fat yum from me. So much so that I have even paid over the odds to have their food delivered (not a service they offer). The staff are lovely, the decor is beautiful and the food exquisite.

Two of us visited Friday 7th August, although we had a very pleasant experience, some of the food was disappointing, when I say some, 2 of the 5 dishes we ordered We had starters of prawns and dumplings which I enjoyed... We had mains of duck, fish and pad Thai, while the pad Thai was lovely and freshly cooked, both... More

We enjoyed our meal here, we sat outside in the evening which was great as we had our dog with us. All staff very friendly and helpful with quick service and delicious food. We were pleased to find most dishes could be made vegan using the vbites chicken pieces.
