Description: Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

We had a fantastic evening at Aguadulce, we pre booked and choose the set menu which made it easy for 12 people. We had our own little area which made us feel special. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was even better, authentic tapas which is reasonably priced. The chorizo and potato bravas was so delicious. .. I would... More

Excellent food and service. Make sure you book a table in the evening though, it was extremely busy when we visited!

It is difficult to find authentic Spanish tapas / food outside Spain as it is hard or nearly impossible to find the same ingredients. After talking to the owner, it made all the sense to me to taste authentic food as the key ingredients are brought from Spain. I have lived in the UK for more than 10years and I... More

We recently had a pre-xmas meal for 18 people and our experience of everything was first-class. The arranging with Carlo the owner (top guy) was easy considering the numbers and time of year - he made it easy for me. Then on the evening we were in a room to ourselves upstairs which was perfect and the service was spot-on.... More

I love this place, I've been on quite a few occasions now and it's always a treat! The manager is extremely kind, you just don't get that kind of service from chain/large companies. The restaurant is full of charm and good for couples, friends and work dos. Sometimes they have a band playing which adds to the charm and ambiance.... More

We chose this restaurant after reading the many good reviews on here, and having eaten at other mainstream chain establishments over the years we decided to give this place a try.we are so glad we did. We had wonderful food, including seafood soup which was awesome, calamari,Spanish black pudding which melted in the mouth, spicy chorizo,chilli... More

The four of us booked a fairly early table (7PM is normally early for us) so that we could enjoy the evening. AguaDulce is Angie and Petes favorite restaurant in Brighton, and in our top two or three too. We were greeted by Carlos, the owner who's seen us there enough times to easily recognise us! As normal we decided... More
