Description: Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

Fabulous tapas at a brilliant family owned restaurant. Great staff and even better food. The prawns and the creme Catalana were particular highlights. You must visit!

Ate here on an early Saturday evening before seeing a show nearby. It was quiet to start with but very busy and buzzy by the time we left. The tapas selection was wide and the plates we had were very tasty and spicy. The dessert selection was limited but we found something to round off the whole meal. There were... More

First visit to AguaDulce - based on rave reviews of 'Best tapas outside of Spain' - well that's quite a title to live up to! We ordered 8 tapas dishes, which were undeniably good. But the menu the tapas menu is not extensive and was personally disappointed to not find Patatas Bravas on the menu. The restaurant is intimate and... More

The food was delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. The waitress did a great job recommending dishes and they were all fantastic. The Sangria was great a real taste on Spain. We will definitely return.

Visited Agua Dulce for the first time today. We'll definitely be back. Very tasty authentic tapas and friendly staff. I'd recommend the pata mojopicon, turbot and albondigas. All delicious.

Thanks for a really enjoyable meal. A very wide menu. We ordered a wide selection of tapas dishes and a couple of 'mains' that we shared, includingTurbot, suckling pig, broad beans and chick peas with spinach as well as patatas allioli. All were delicious and the portions of the tapas dishes were very generous. Good, lively atmosphere and great service.

We now visit Aquadulce every time we are in Brighton and have never been disappointed by the service or the food. We have both lived in and travelled extensively in Spain and think this is the best that Spanish food gets outside of the country itself. Can't wait for our next visit in November. ¡Estupendo!

I live in Thailand and everytime I return home this is the first place I like to go with my friends. Fantastic service, amazing food and excellent value for money. Booking is required as they are so busy. If you come to Brighton don't miss this amazing little gem!!!

I thought the idea of tapas was small dishes that you ordered several of to give you a tasting experience? Some of these tapas dishes were huge and expensive! some of the tapas dishes were veering towards the £10 each mark, one cost nearly £14!.. No thanks.

sorry to hear that you find my portions too big..for me this is very strange to get a negative review because my quantaties are too large but anyway thanks because i am sure that other customers will realise they get value for money in my restaurant. normally people complain for small and expensive .......as for tapas in general they can...
