Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

Amazing Food and Service yet again

Went today for lunch. It is such a joy to find a restaruant that actually knows how to cook fish. I tried the John Dowry fish and my wife the Monkfish which were cooked to perfection and fresh. The service was equally as good as the food. Although I live in London everytime we go to Brighton this... read more

Didn't book, although we should have. Even though they were fully booked they managed to accommodate us. It was superb so much so we've booked again.

From the outside it doesn't look much but don't let that put you off. Inside is fine. Been 3 times now. The owner appears quite abrupt initially but once your order has been taken, he seems to "lighten up/relax" a bit. We end having a laugh and joke with him. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the... More

Went on Saturday night with wife and friends, running late so called to let them know, not a problem. Service attentive and friendly. Food was very good, ordered various Tapas dishes and all came in a steady procession during the evening. would thoroughly recommend. great evening had by all.

Myself along with 10 other girls came here for a celebratory birthday dinner and although some of us were a tad late, the owner wasn't too welcoming and somewhat rude! He soon redeemed himself once we got our food, the tapas were amazing and plentiful! From the outside and even the inside of the restaurant, it is quite shabby, but... More

We only live 10 minutes away from Brighton by Train, and fancied an afternoon shopping followed by dinner somewhere nice. Having decided on a Mediterranean meal, I checked out Trip Advisor. AguaDulce has glowing reviews, so we booked a table. We were totally impressed! Food was beautiful, ate far too much but it was all gorgeous. Atmosphere was very authentically... More

Finally tried this place and found it to be average. Prices are high and portions small compared to other tapas restaurants in Brighton. Also gloomy and dark inside, needs brightening up. Good service though.
