Description: Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

The service was attentive, the food was excellent and the portions was generous! We look forward to going back again when we're visiting Brighton again!

I visited AguaDulce for dinner with two clients a few days after returning from Barcelona and it was like being back in Spain. The tapas were freshly made and delicious and the paella, very good indeed. There's no frills about this place - it's honest, warm and welcoming and they care as much about the food as they do in... We very much enjoyed our meal here. The staff were friendly and food came promptly. We had a selection of tapas. Dishes were hot, fresh and very tasty. Couldn't resist a pudding and wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend.

Amazing food! Being Spanish I'm usually very fussy with where I eat spanish food. This place has authentic food! Love the sauces, especially the mojo picon! Reminds me of the canaries. And the tarta santiago for dessert it lovely! And loved that they had tinto the verano! :) made my day! Great friendly staff and good atmosphere! Will be back!

Superb lunch, excellent service, many tables taken but quiet enough for easy conversation and no loud music. If you go for the Zarzuela Pescado (delicious fish stew), go easy on tapas and bread dips that you will be recommended to keep you going till the dish arrives - you will scarcely be able to move at the end of the... 9 of us came here for my daughter's birthday. It was superb. Everyone was friendly and clearly wanted us to enjoy the experience. The food was delicious - we had a mixture of tapas and paella. With all of the other places to choose from I'm so pleased that we chose this one.

Don't be put off by the location (down-at-heel end of Kings Road) and a slightly dingy interior, this restaurant reeks of authenticity. Our tapas - prawn pil-pil, sauteed chorizo and chick peas in spinach- were fabulous and helped us to sit out the wait for our vegetarian paella with chicken - It took about 30 minutes to appear but that's... After seeing the reviews we called in early on Friday night and hoped a table was available. We were so glad we did. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming. We ate several tapas from the 'specials' and found they were all excellent. We would go here all the time if we lived in Brighton.
