Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

Delicious, authentic Tapas.

We went there as a large group and enjoyed sharing lots of the Tapas dishes. The owner is very friendly and makes the whole experience more authentic and enjoyable. The food is delicious with lots of dishes to try.

We had 3 tappas for 2 persons and it was more than enough. We had the spanish saussages which were really tasty and mussels also very tasty. The overall quality was good and the price was reasonable. The restaurant is definitly a good choice but I wouldn't say it's awesome

This place has been on our list for a while. We are big fans of Casa don Carlos and this place has been mentioned several times so wanted to see if they match up. We walked down on a Saturday evening and managed to get a table for 2 after a very short wait. My main criticism of the place... More

We visited Aguadulce for our first wedding anniversary last night . We had booked and were seated straight away with drinks orders taken promptly and were left to browse the menu . The choice of tapas is incredible and we opted for four dishes from the main menu and one from the specials board. Our food order was taken when... More

The food was ok, i'm not a great fan of Tapas, but it was fine. It was just ruined by lack of attention from staff. We had to keep getting up to ask where our drinks were and were half way through the meal before they brought the soft drinks out. They didn't really take our drinks order. The only... More

So my partner and I decided we would do an A-Z of Brighton restaurants seen as we both have a passion for food. And this was our first choice. Spanish tapas food- something we eat quite a bit. This place had a nice choice of dishes- some more basic then expected- description sounded better if I'm honest. We turned up... More

Love this place, have brought friends and family and each time it's a winner. Carlos & Olga have brought Spain to Brighton - you really do feel like you have walked into a Spanish restaurant - so warm and welcoming and such fantastic food, utterly delicious. I'm a vegetarian and their speciality is vegetarian paella which is scrumptious. Love the... More

Place was very close to our hotel that's why we went there for a dinner. I really had feeling that i will walk away and will be again in Mallorca, because of that amazing atmosphere they have. We had Mediterranean paella and some tapas with sangria. It was as good as in Spain. The prices are average for this kind... More

Here you feel as if on holiday in Spain. Very friendly staff, good food with some nice specials, the wine is excellent though some is a bit pricey. Well worth a visit :-)
