Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

I was there with a friend and the friendly staff recommended us suckling pig with potatoes and chicken wings with an orange sauce as a starter. To drink we took the orange mojito. The food was really tasty and enough to become saturated. When we ordered the bill we got some melonejuice for free. But it was a high price/performance... More

AguaDulce is the place to go in Brighton if you fancy eating delicious Spanish food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The owner, Carlo, is lovely and will make you feel at home by all means. He's very proud of his authentic Spanish products beautifully served. I had a great selection of tapas and fresh seafood, with an incredible lobster... More

A friend had recommended to try this restaurant. Arrived around 19:45 on Thursday evening, there were only 4 other people at the tables and two waitresses. After 20 minutes of waiting, a waitress finally comes to our table to take our order: a beer, a bottle of tap water, a portion of olives, octopus (pulpo) with paprika and potatoes, king... More

Very high quality food, not just in relation to other tapas restaurants, but generally compared to other restaurants. One of the best meals I've had for a long time. Salmorejo (cold tomato and garlic soup) was fantastic, also almejas (clams), morcilla (blood sausage) and the spicy potatoes (forgotten name, like patatas bravas but with cumin, gorgeous). Service was first class,... More

We have visited this restaurant several times and have had a warm welcome from the owner and staff on each visit. The food is plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. We highly recommend AguaDulce and will be returning on our next visit to Brighton.

Three of us made a dinner here out of tapas. It was fairly busy (we had booked). It's obviously family-run with friendly and efficient service. There's a good range of tapas, including the familiar and the not-so-familiar, all good, freshly cooked and tasty and arriving in a suitable order and procession. A nice glass of fino and a very good... More

We went here as a group of four as my parents had eaten here before and had some great food. Unfortunately this trip wasn't a success. We ordered a tapas each as a starter and then main courses. After about an hours wait three of our starters arrived, two of which were Luke warm. The last starter emerged 5 minutes... More
