Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.

Finally tried this place and found it to be average. Prices are high and portions small compared to other tapas restaurants in Brighton. Also gloomy and dark inside, needs brightening up. Good service though.

I have eaten Tapas all over the world. I did not expect to eat authentic tapas locally in Brighton, but found it in AguaDulce. The service is excellent, the friendliness of the family run patron is great, but most of all the food is simply fantastic. Take care - one tapas dish feeds two - for most appetites! The atmosphere... More

We ended up going two evenings in a row when we stayed in Brighton. First night we had seafood - octopus (pulpo a la gallega), calamari, shark (cazon en adobo) and the anchovies (boquerones en vinagre). Great seafood meal and I recommend 4 tapas between 2 people. On the second night we had the slow cooked pork loin (carne moruna),... More

I visited yesterday with my family, after the Brighton Marathon. We have eaten at Agua Dulce on many occasions and the food and service are always excellent. It was good for us that we were able to get a table, but i cant help feeling sad that the Restaurant isn't better attended. If i can make a small suggestion, as... More

We're not from around Brighton but have visited as a family on several occasions. This time was because my brother had completed the marathon earlier today. We had been walking around for half an hour to forty minutes, looking for somewhere to eat, but constantly being refused from "chain restaurants" with ridiculously large waiting times. We then stumbled across Agua... More

Food here was really, very good and the service was quick too but not rushed. Dishes on the whole were a bit expensive but in this case you get what you pay for.
