Sumptuous Kerala coconut vegetarian curry and spicy butter paneer masala were very good. Decent portions too. Price is reflected in the quality of the food. Also they took 20% off our bill as we collected our food, which was a nice touch! Would definitely dine-in next time.

Myself and my wife visited this restraunt on Saturday evening as we were visiting Brighton for her birthday, I had already pre booked as I had chosen this restraunt with advice from previous trip advisor reviews. I do like a good Indian and and have tried Indians from both ends of the scale good & bad. The Eastern eye's staff... More

The food was spicier than I would normally choose, but full of flavour and generous portion sizes. The vegetarian and seafood options were delicious. Service was efficient and attentive. The prices for seafood dishes were surprisingly reasonable. I would definitely go there again.

I went to this restaurant with 8 others from work. Everyone got their main 10 minutes before me and when I finally got my main it was the wrong thing....I ordered a chicken vindaloo and instead I got a lamb buna. I also found their naun bread to be very dry. Won't be back again.

Visited on Saturday with a group of 14, without having pre-booked. Staff were able to refit some tables to get us all in and then managed to serve up some quality food at a very reasonable price. Would certainly visit again if we came to Brighton again.

Went to this establishment Sat 6th Sept at opening time, 18:00, with ten lads after a most excellant day around Brighton and prior t our 21:00 return train to Pompey. Poppadoms and pickles were average and the staff had to be encouraged to refill the pickle trays as between 10 lads they did not last long Always liked prawn dishes... More

My boyfriend and I visited last weekend and have already been back to show this fantastic place to the family. The staff are very friendly and welcoming - the main waiter has already remembered our names! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the food is amazing. The Malabar fish (I think thats what it was called) just melts in... More

The dosa's (South Indian pancakes made from rice and lentil batter) are a speciality of this restaurant. The king prawn dosa I had was super tasty with lots of big juicy prawns and fresh flavours. My partner had the lamb chilli garlic and the meat was very tender and succulent. I had read previous reviews about the service not being... More

Situated on London Road, Eastern Eye is a real diamond in the rough. The food is made from authentic, natural ingredients and comes in rather generous portions. There really is something for everyone on the menu and they often have very generous offers on to entice newcomers. One thing, though, that really lets the restaurant down is their attitude towards... More

Dined for the second time last night. This place is terrific. The King Fish Madras. I think it's safe to say that the waiter who served us rates it very highly as well as he seemed really happy when I ordered it and exuded charming enthusiasm when it was served. Damn right. It was excellent, lovely layers of complex flavour,... More
