This is a diamond in the rough kind of place. Amazing food, great staff, beyond tasty drinks. Will be returning for sure.

I have eaten here a few times and have to say the food and service are great. I used to buy Indian dishes from a convenience store the owner's parents ran in Upper Lewes Road, good Indian food at it's best.

I love this place! I had lived in Brighton for two years before I knew about it. It looks a bit quirky from the front with its Pink sign and its off the main road in an odd little parade but it is amazing. Its family run, vegetarian, authentic Indian food. Always busy and I recommend booking, even on a... More

It's a curry venue for those who don't know what a curry should taste like. Lovely atmosphere but bland curry with spice but no flavour.

I loved this place I went with a party of 20. From when I phoned to book until we left the restaurant the service was great. Relaxed almost comforting. We drank a lot and over stayed but they never made us feel unwelcome. The food was delicious. The Vine leaf (also known as Elephant Ears)and sweetcorn curry tasted like a... More

Amazing food, although really busy this did not effect quality. Atmosphere was lively and just what you want eating out. As a ex brummie resident who live in the balti triangle for many years, the food at Planet India lived up to all expectations and certainly fixed all my curry cravings. Will be visiting as much as possible. Also, the... More

I have been to Planet India more times than I can remember and I have never been disappointed. The welcome has been warm and friendly on every visit and the atmosphere inside is great. The food is incredible and great value. The street food starters are delicious and definitely worth ordering. The option of ordering half and half mains is... More

My friend and I went here for dinner on Friday night, having made sure to make a reservation. The place was full and there was a lovely, happy atmosphere from the moment we walked in. There are family photos on the wall, thick carpet on the floors and the chairs don't match - so what! We ordered our drinks from... More

The restaurant is in a small street perpendicular to the square in front St Peter Church in the right hand side. the restaurant is open still 9h45 PM and it's crowdy, so you must come early without the reservation or you will have to eat outside. All the menu is veggie, every dish with indian name has its own description... More
