Taken there by a friend last month, having just moved to Brighton from London. This restaurant is much raved about in Brighton, but frankly I was disappointed, maybe because I am spoilt by the high level of Indonesian/South East Asian restaurants in London. Things were not helped by being served by an Italian waiter, who stared blankly at me when... More

4th visit, 2nd review, and I am somewhat reticent about writing it because people might discover this magnificent gem tucked away downa side street. However, I owe it to the staff to once again say what a great experience we had there. On each occasion I have had a different main course, and on each occasion the food has been... More

This being our family group's first visit, we decided on a range of starters, mains and desserts to test the menu to its limits. It's a tough task for any restaurant to get everything right, but the four of us were surprised and delighted at the consistently high quality and well-differentiated flavours of each dish. The beef rendang, melt-in-the-mouth lamb,... More

Having been here before and had a brilliant meal, we decided to come back on Saturday. The food itself was absolutely lovely - I had the swordfish satay and the grilled lamb for main. Swordfish satay was very small - another skewer could have been good! The service however was shockingly slow - we waited a while for our starter,... More

I'd eaten here before and the food was good, however this time round I ordered beef rendang on a Saturday afternoon and it was served up looking like yesterday's leftovers. The service was so good that I felt rude to complain so I ate it and I've spent the rest of the day and night complaining of a tummy ache.... More

We decided to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. Glad we went. The waitress was very friendly. The food was fab. Really enjoyed our meal. It was nice to have something a bit different to the usual Thai.

Everything was fresh and delicious. It is a small restaurant so reservations will keep you from waiting for a table. House red is surprisingly good. Recommended.

Second time here and once again really enjoyed the food. The sate starter dishes tase excellent and the sauce itself is probably the best I have tasted. The Rendang Daging beef dish looked small at first but was very concentrated and actually was just the right portion size, the Ayam Bumbu Rujak chicken pieces were huge tasty not dry and... More

Have eaten here three times now and the food is always extremely tasty. The only minor complaint I have is that it was a little cold in the restaurant (whilst extremely cold outside!). The menu is interesting and the service is efficient and politely discreet.
