I organised a dinner for 16 at Warung Tujuh. We had the £18 pp banquet menu. The staff at the restaurant were very accommodating my requests and phone call before the event. The food was absolutely incredible. My friends and I were blown away. The service was warm and friendly and the wine list had a great selection of reasonably... More

We booked a table here to remind us of a holiday in Bali 20 years ago, and it certainly did that. The restaurant is quite small (although I believe there is an upstairs), but it was well furnished and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The food was glorious with lovely fresh and clean flavours. The mixed platter as a... More

There were a large group of us so we were seated upstairs and the meal was wonderful! We went for the group set menu and I'm glad we did this as we got to try so many different dishes, which were all delicious! Really enjoyable dinner!

This place is tucked away just off the seafront and sandwiched between the coach station and the back of the old cinema but don't let slightly run down surroundings put you off. The restaurant is set over 3 small floors and pretty cramped but modern and pleasant enough. The place was deserted when we arrived about half seven but rammed... More

Food was great, tasted the real authentic Indonesian taste as one of the chefs is from Bali. The portion of the Nasi Goreng and Bihun Goreng are really big so I recommend sharing! Only 2 skewers of satays are given so that's too little. Quite pricey and the space is rather small, but the taste beats everything. Takes about 15-20... More

If they were, I'd give this place a five. The food is delicious and although the service can be erratic, it's unfailingly pleasant and cheerful. It's small, so expect to be able to join in the conversation at the next table if you want to, but this place is well worth searching out if you like flavourful, spicy, reasonably priced... More

Really nice for something different. Restaurant is really small so suggest you book. Ambience is okay, made up 200% by the amazing food. Service friendly but intermittent, waiter did not know what one of the ingredients was and did not bother to check with a colleague. As I said food was fab so put up with the service and go!... More

Taken there by a friend last month, having just moved to Brighton from London. This restaurant is much raved about in Brighton, but frankly I was disappointed, maybe because I am spoilt by the high level of Indonesian/South East Asian restaurants in London. Things were not helped by being served by an Italian waiter, who stared blankly at me when... More

4th visit, 2nd review, and I am somewhat reticent about writing it because people might discover this magnificent gem tucked away downa side street. However, I owe it to the staff to once again say what a great experience we had there. On each occasion I have had a different main course, and on each occasion the food has been... More

This being our family group's first visit, we decided on a range of starters, mains and desserts to test the menu to its limits. It's a tough task for any restaurant to get everything right, but the four of us were surprised and delighted at the consistently high quality and well-differentiated flavours of each dish. The beef rendang, melt-in-the-mouth lamb,... More
