Having lived in Brighton for years - we decided to try Trip Advisor for a restaurant tip. Warung Tajuh was a TRIUMPH. We strolled into town (casually dressed) and were welcomed as if family. Low key, warm and welcoming - the food delicious and authentic. I can hugely recommend and very reasonably priced to boot.

Trying to find a late bite on a Sunday night was tricky but Warung Tujuh came to our rescue. Very accomodating staff. Great recommendations for the novice consumer. Options for take away considering our tardiness. Flavoursome food. Recommendation guarantee!

Haven't written a review before, but this was such a good meal. Truly sensational spices, everything cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, even as a take away. Can't wait to actually visit in person.

A little bored of the regular restaurants we thought we would try something a little different and try Indonesian food on our Honeymoon. I found the staff to be really helpful and talked us through the menu, even offering me a recommendation which I took them up on. I tried the Nasi Lemak which is a tasting platter and gives... More

i dropped in to the warung last week, on my own this time, and was made really welcome, the atmosphere was really buzzing as there were a quite a few people in. As i was hungry i opted for the meat tasting platter, which didn't disappoint. if you ask you can get a hot chili thick sauce for dipping, which... More

The restaurant serves Indonesian/Malaysian cuisine. Very tasty and portions were big. Service was excellent! Place is small, so booking is necessary.

This was a real find. Authentic Indonesian/Malaysia. Relaxed, bordering on the scruffy, but clean. Staff understood we were waiting for an additional person and served nobles and drinks without any fuss. Incidentally the nicest prawn crackers I've ever had, with a really hot dipping sauce. We had a sharing platter to start, all pastry based but very nice. Main was... More

We popped in here early (6pm) on a Friday evening and had a wonderful meal when the place was quiet. I could imagine that when it gets busy you might feel a little crowded downstairs as it is so small but the food is really worth it, and the service excellent. We love food from the Far East, having visited... More

This is a great Thai restaurant hidden away near Brighton Bus Station. I love this place for great food.the staff are great, and will always help the unsure customer make a menu choice. Love the Pad Thai and the sharing platter. I cant fault the food, however the interior could do with a lick of paint, as its very tired.
