Been dying to try this place and was not disappointed - flavours were EXQUISITE, (some) portions not so much! Appreciate the Rendang takes many hours to prepare but £9.50 for a miniscule portion of what is a cheap cut of meat probably would have been returned had I not had 'company'. All in all will revisit but will be more... More

This is trendy little place, very popular. The food is flavorful and the service good. Price is moderate for very good Indonesian food.

Very fresh ingredients on the main meal. The small portion of stew unfortunately was seasoned with frozen veg and the prawn crackers were not freshly fried.

A small hidden gem of a restaurant, the food is superb and the service very friendly. Essential to reserve in advance as its so small and definately worth the effort and commitment of doing so. Cant wait to go again!

So we went for the set menu for lunch, and at £8 for two courses you can not go warung can you! Sorry could not resist the joke, but I dare you to resist the food which is delicious. We had three different starters and three different mains and all where delightful and exquisite, service was very friendly and the... More

Managed to get a table in here on a weekend evening and was surprised at how good the food was. Very tasty, home cooked food and different from anything we had had before. Food has a real kick which is great to find in the UK. Atmosphere is nice - this place is 2/3 small floors which adds to the... More

Yes it's small and slightly tucked away, but if you want to enjoy something out of the ordinary come here...people are too easily sucked in to places on the seafront and choose basic tourist fare, but this is food with a difference...from a succulent lamb starter, tasty beef rendang and a tangy salad as a side, it was all delightful...the... Indonesian restaurants usually have a wide range of choice for vegetarians. This one didn’t. Of the three ‘vegetarian’ main courses on the a la carte menu, one was described as being based on shrimp paste. Alarm bells rang. Do the owner and the chef of this restaurant really believe that shrimp is a vegetable? Avoiding the shrimp-based choice, I opted... More

Delightful food. Great ambience. One of the very best restaurants I have eaten in. Great price too. Highly recommended. We found this only by accident and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious each dish was.

Delicious food, friendly staff, I will definitely be revisiting this restaurant! Staff were very flexible and accommodating even though we arrived an hour late for our booking. One of the best Indonesia restaurants I've ever eaten it.
