Great little restaurant

although we'd been to Brighton a few times before, we decided to wing it and hadn't booked anywhere for dinner on Saturday night: a schoolboy error! We were wandering around looking for somewhere and found this place. We walked in and it was rammed, so we expected to be told they were full, but... read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening last night. Had a beautiful bottle of rose, and 5 wee plates that were all delightful. Really worth a visit. We will definitely be back

Went in no booking. Had great meal, thestaff friendly. Food very good. Was for a relaxing evening and got it had wine pud and app 6 dishes about£50. Would recommend it. Yes chairs bit hard but after my first glass of wine and olives didn't notice. Place very clean and it got VERY busy. Good pace of service too. Will be... More

I've come to Bodega now about 4-5 times and have found it to be a little slice of Spain in the Brighton town centre. The food is excellent and sourced lovingly and includes two of my favourite recipes/ingredients from the asturuan region of Spain. Namely the fantastic blue/green cheese cabrales (you can choose to have it on its own or... More

We visited La Bodega today, for the first time, trying to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening. The food was fantastic - much more traditional and earthy flavours than many high-street tapas bars in the UK. They also have a nice selection of wines. Service was good, but not exceptional, as the staff seemed keen to close for... More

First visit to this tapas bar. A small place, in need of a luck of paint. There were 8 of us and we were at the back placed outside the toilet in a conservatory setting. Not the best of surroundings. Place was busy, food reasonably priced and not too bad. Not a very extensive range but passable. Nowhere close to... More

Great tapas, friendly service - uncomfortable seats! Just round the corner from Komedia cinema. Will be back.

Popped in here for a midafternoon break and some light bites. The place was busy, the service wasn't the quickest but we wanted a relaxing break from shopping so that suited us. Our waitress was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent as was the wine. For four plates and two drinks the bill was (just) less than twenty quid.... More

Came in mid week for tapas and it was fine. Decent portion sizes and tasty. Nothing ground breaking but does what it says on the tin. The waitress was friendly and efficient.

I used to come to this lovely little tapas bar every week, but since Juan left over a year ago we havent been. I love tapas, and we where in a rush to go to the theare - so we thought we'd give it a whirl. Chaos! Despite the place being half empty, we where guided to a dirty table... More
