This was a lovely place but something has gone wrong. As others have said, there aren't enough waiters and it's got to be really bad value for money. There were 6 of us sharing and someone ordered mushrooms, they brought 5 tiny mushrooms between us. The portions are the sort of size they'd give you for free in Spain. Nice... More

I really wanted to leave a positive review as I love Spanish food and saw there weren't many reviews for Bodega on Trip Advisor... unfortunately I don't really have much positive to say about this restaurant. There wasn't anything 'terrible' about it but the service was slow, the food was average in quality, the portions were tiny and the price... More

We wanted tapas and the sister restaurant was full, so we went here. We have been before for a birthday and were disappointed by the lack of quality and choice and hoped this may have improved but sadly not. The service is fine but the food is ridiculously overpriced for the quality -£5.95 for pulled pork brochette ( which translate... More

Having visited a few times and loved the simple, honest quality of the service, food and wine, we decided to invite a very well travelled wine supplier friend for Tuesday evening dinner. Needless to say we all left very happy! The sister restaurant on Sydney St is equally good.

A quick, romantic bite to eat before going to the Brighton Dome was not to be - terrible food and little ambience. The menu is limited - which would have been ok, had the quality been high, but who has 'boiled carrots' as a tapas option? Wine menu was poorly laid out and confused. Patatas Bravas was not properly cooked... More

We stopped here for a bite to eat in the sunshine. The menu is quite skewed towards vegetables and seafood - not a problem, but just something to be aware of. There was only one chicken dish and one pork dish (apart from the chorizo and ham platters). There were quite a few options not available which was a bit... More

I have never bothered to leave a review on Tripadvisor as life is too short but there is always the exception. Having lived in Spain I usually avoid most Spanish restaurants in the UK. My BF and I made an exception with Bodega as there were lots of interesting things on the menu. Disappointingly none of them were available so... More

I am so surprised to find some negative reviews o this place. I have been 3 or 4 times and always left fully staisfied. Generally i leave tapas restaraunts (and restaraunts igeneral) a little dissapointed because ii feel i have had something i could have easily made at home but have been charged a ridiculous price for the privelege. At... More

A vegetarian friend recommended this tapas place, so assumed it must be good if it was memorable for a vegetarian. Arrived, prime time Saturday night dinner. Half of the hot food items weren't available. Service was painfully slow, as there were only two waiters working a fully booked restaurant. We had prawns, squid, white beans with chorizo, and a cheese... More
