We visited twice in a week! Once as a couple on a quiet Tuesday evening. The waitress was warm and friendly and took the time to advise on the right wine for the meal. The food was absolutely delicious and in true tapas style arrived quickly in a sporadic order. We left leaving having made reservations to return 4 days... More

Fancied some tapas do we popped in to Bodega. Only a limited number of lunch options but excellent food. Especially recommend the Albondigas in Goats Cheese and the Tortilla. Simple food done well. Nice Rioja as well.

We visited because we could not believe the bad reviews having visited the sister Solera. We found the same food quality, service and atmosphere, after all they share the same staff. The food selection is a bit less than the other restaurant, but you can see the menu displayed outside so you know what you are getting. You are warned... More

As others have said, this is not a pretentious place, small tables, small restaurant, basic but very good food, not expensive. A good night here with plenty of Spanish wine will cost you £25 or so - its great value for money, very authentic.

The food and the service here is amazing as is the atmosphere and the patio out the back. I love this restaurant and the staff and if your looking for a traditional Spanish tapas bar being served by Spanish people in a Spanish way then look no further. It's a small place so avoid busy times as this restaurant always... More

This was a lovely place but something has gone wrong. As others have said, there aren't enough waiters and it's got to be really bad value for money. There were 6 of us sharing and someone ordered mushrooms, they brought 5 tiny mushrooms between us. The portions are the sort of size they'd give you for free in Spain. Nice... More

I really wanted to leave a positive review as I love Spanish food and saw there weren't many reviews for Bodega on Trip Advisor... unfortunately I don't really have much positive to say about this restaurant. There wasn't anything 'terrible' about it but the service was slow, the food was average in quality, the portions were tiny and the price... More

A nice little unpretentious tapas bar opposite the Dome. Friendly Spanish staff, Spanish ambience, simple (ok, fairly basic) food at down to earth prices. Very good and recommended!

We wanted tapas and the sister restaurant was full, so we went here. We have been before for a birthday and were disappointed by the lack of quality and choice and hoped this may have improved but sadly not. The service is fine but the food is ridiculously overpriced for the quality -£5.95 for pulled pork brochette ( which translate... More
