Went with fiends on hen do for lunch.very pleasant atmosphere. Slow,to take orders and serve drinks. Staters came out pretty quick. Had,deep fried potato balls that were very bland. Then ordered chicken fillet with rice and cheese dip. Got given chicken on sewers with chips and different dip. So sent it back. After every one else had vertually finished their... More

This was on the seafront near to our hotel. We liked it so much we returned every night. The food is amazing. My favourite was Imam Baylidi-very tasty and just melts in your mouth. We also tried the souvlaki and a beef casserole. Everything was tasty and hot. Would definately go back if we holiday in Brighton again.

The best compliment I can pay this place is it the food tastes just like traditional place in Greece. All simple food, lots of fresh fish and seafood available, and amazing Pita bread.

Loved this place. A real little seaside taverna. The welcome and the service couldn't be faulted and the moussaka was superb. It was good, too, to be able to eat and drink outside, with the comfort of electrical overhead heaters. Especially liked the good house red wine at an excellent price. This place is popular with students, and I can... More

We visit Steki once every couple of months for the fresh fish and seaf food. Service is really friendly and the place has a warm traditional feel to it

Situated right on the seafront near the Grand Hotel, Steki's serves really tasty and well-presented Greek food. The breads are fantastic - light flatbread sprinkled with herbs and oil, and the lamb dishes in particular are delicious. The decor is fairly modern and minimal but not unattractive. The only downside we have seen (and we have only ever visited at... More

Many people who come to dine here might be a little disappointed by some dishes being missed off the menu. Many people who attend a "Greek" restaurant should be aware that there is a distinct difference between Cypriot and Greek food. The UK has been well fed by the immigrant population of the fine island of Cyprus, since the 60's... More

Unmatching crockery and cutlery. Crap, overpriced wine. An adequate but grossly overpriced mezzi plate that had been dumped on the plate. The moussaka was an embarrassment for a greek restaurant, get yourself a tesco oven one and save 10 quid. A really shoddy experience with no effort put in and charged nearly 70 pounds for the privilege. The waitress was... More

Visited the steki as a result of the positive reports on trip advisor having ignored some of the negative comments.  The waiter was friendly and we were served promptly. The food however was a massive let down, the waiter was almost embarrassed putting the food on the table.  I had a starter of halloumi  cheese accompanied by a couple of... More
